Has anyone gotten remedical requests for only dependents instead of the whole family? I just got a remedical request only for my 4 year old and 2 year old. Not for me or my wife! Don't know if that's a mistake or they extended ours...

When has your security been finalized?
Mine was finalized last week but still waiting for remedical request.

Weird that they have asked it only for your kids... Seems like yours has been extended. You should call them to be sure

Please how did you know that your security has been finalized?

Silent reader here...Guys, I finally got the Ready for Visa request on the 22nd May, 2019. This comes 11 months post AOR. my timeline is below:

ITA: JUNE 13,2018
AOR: JUNE 23
1ST MEP: JULY 7TH ,2018
IP2: OCTOBER 24,2018
ADR: MEDICAL EXAMS REQUEST – OCT 26,2018
2ND MEP: 21ST MAY 2019
PPR: 21ST MAY 2019

I have a question for the experts in the house:

My PPR mail was dated 21st May, 2019 but there was a part of the mail that says.. "As of May 1, 2018, all original documents, including passports, must be submitted via the VAC. "

I plan to submit my passport next week. Should i just ignore that portion and go ahead with my planned submission or i should reply the mail, pointing out the discrepancy in the dates?

Thank you for your help and information sharing during this long wait.

Congratulations!

That line is just stating the procedure for submitting passports changed since May 2018. New procedure - All passports must now be submitted via VAC

Has anyone applied for an OHIP card here? If yes, could you please shed some light on the process?

Thank you...I just noticed after you pointed out that the year referenced was 2018 not 2019...excitement induced oversight.

U cannot get it before completing 3 months of landing... u need to be physically present for 183 days before u are eligible for ohip... u can register by going to central offices but yeaa..
plus all service ontario do not do ohip.. so do check online which is in ur city

That was swift, my remeds are passed since a week now but no PR yet

Maybe it's because my doctor uses eMedical, so he uploads the results into their system and, unless there is something off, the system clears automatically in 48 hours. But that's just a hunch
