Hi June applicants!

I really didn't think that there are people who are still waiting like me! 10+ since AOR |sigh|
Everything is passed, but security is still under process .. I got an email yesterday saying my account is updated but when I logged in there was no update hmm .. hopefully this means something good.

I hope everyone hears some good news soon!

I received the second set of gcms notes. In the first one criminality had not started, in this one it is passed, and security is redacted, about five activities.

Any idea what exactly they do that it takes them so long?

I have a question. In my GCMS under security section, sub activities are redacted. How come they are visible in ur notes?

These are notes requested from CBSA, instead of IRCC. CBSA generally doesn't redact applicant's security information.

Just got an email from the hospital. The records were not uploaded yet. They will do it today.

For sure we are not sending our passports before declaring the dependent.
It’s just that we only have 3 days to send the passports for stamping and are worried that would 30 days be enough for cic to process the dependent’s application and add it on ours ...

Hey Richika,
One of my relative had similar case like yours..they applied for tourist visa for their child..they travelled with their young one and later on applied for his pr from canada itself..i dont know if this is a better option or not but this is what they did..

My security is under review. Other two were showing passed since ages. Do you know the agent who has sent me this message is the one looking at my file?

I dont think so..agents replying the emails are not same as those processing files..

It has been 5 days of trying to talk to an agent on IRCC helpline without success. Could you please give me an idea about the best time to call them?

I am trying on this number 6139444000 from
India. Though I have been able to hear the status via automated recording but I want to get the clearer picture of my file status which is stuck with them for 10 months. My medical is expiring today (19th April) but there are no remedical requests or extension of medical. I am really worried. Though there was an update on my file status from IP1 to Ip2 on Monday after I paid RPRF fees. I was waiting for some update on medical thing but nothing as yet.

Calm down, it is not unusual or rare for them to extend your medicals. Or ask for re-medicals after expiry.

I feel paying RPRF did some trick for you on file movement. Wait for another week.

Also, I usually get lucky when I call between 3am and 5 am Indian time.

So yeah yours does look like it started in November, again, wicked fast. Maybe you got lucky and someone looked at your file very soon after it started.

Or maybe they did some of these securities in the past on my previous applications (Sometimes they send TRV and study/work permits to SS as well). That may be why it was done faster. No one knows how they work

It means that you are under SS. Search forums for enhanced security screening. you can find a lot of info. There are threads as well as immitracker for the people under SS
