Guys,

Anyone called this week? I tried calling them but unable to connect. Raised cse’s multiple times but same reply. Emailed all visa offices.

Did they lost my file? I submitted detailed webform but got reply saying decision has been made which I know since last 3 months. I don’t know how to approach them now.

When I called last month, they said ppr email is in queue and will be triggered shortly.

I remember watching my immitracker’s average of 93 days to PPR and thinking there’s no way mine would take that long being a simple application.. even counted days and was supposed to get it by the end of september, even searched for PPRs issued to people living in my country... and here I am, turning 8 months today (well, I techically applied on june 8, got the AOR on june 9) sadly the excitement is completely gone.
Yes. Even if I get email today it’s like a formality for me now. Just want this thing to finish now.

Some applicants with review required have also got Pprs. Why are we treated this way?

No answers from them at all. They are so clueless about everything. Entire process is a chaos.

Man, I know what you are saying. I have seen some people on the forums wit shi**y fake job experience who add spouse in the middle of the application who still get ppr in less than 4 months. Once I saw a case on immitracker with 4 ADR who got ppr on time. My job and education and everything is Canadian. The verification was so simple, yet it took 6 months for them. After that they just decided that I am suspicious and I have to go to SS

What this stupid processing does is that it makes each of us feel like that there is something wrong with us or there is something wrong with our application, or we could do something to speed things up because every case is different blah blah blah.
But, that is not true, they are the people who should be blamed not us.

Did you order GCMS notes in the last 3 months since your approval?
I had an idea to screen shot the page where it says finalized and application approved in the GCMS notes and upload it via a CSE (as a supporting document) requesting for your PPR because it's been over 3 months post approval.

Got a status update from my local MP as well...

Our office received the following status update from IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada):

  • Received on June 28, 2018
  • 5 people on application
  • All documents have been received
  • Eligibility has passed
  • Criminality has passed
  • Medicals are currently valid
  • Security has passed for spouse
  • Main applicant’s security screening is currently pending
Wondering if this is confirmation that my application is definitely in the enhanced security screening pile!

I have ordered latest one today. Thanks for the idea. If I don’t get by that time, I will use this last option but I wish I don’t have to wait additional month.

They have specifically mentioned security screening but you never know what they actually mean. Best way to know is to order gcms notes.

I am sure MP will not give any wrong info. This is precise. Do you know how long ago you passed eligibility and criminality? Where are you from and have you ever had any ADR?
I think it is highly possible that your case is under SS. Though, the only thing that can confirm is ordering notes.
