Had a talk with cic agent just now.
Same status
Eligibility met, Criminality passed, security not initiated
VO - Ottawa

I asked her if she could send a note to the officer to know the reason for the delay ? She replied that she could only do that post 23rd March . She also said that everything looks good with application. :/
This March 23rd is just a random date and a random answer to evade answering you, yet them make sure that you call them again later so that they can keep their jobs

I am sure security is also done on batches. Obviously there are some holes in CIC loops. Similar to the batch in last Dec. whose application were approved and then everyone found the NDVO loophole, I think you guys need another loophole. Maybe someone should email CIO and ask them to initiate their security. But, I am afraid the officer sends the person for SS! I don't know my friend
LMAO yes. But one guy with security not started since late October having CIO Sydney as vo and application assigned to cb01126 got his file approved last Friday. This gives me hope as I am in similar scenario except ghost update in Nov 16 (3 weeks later). Anyways I have lodged CSE via MP line today and told MPs assistant about this security not started thing. I have also attached notice of assessment last week through CSE.

I think I will get update by end of February.

Your eligibility is met and criminality passed right? There's no need for GCMS notes except to confirm/deny that security has not started. You can order them if you want.

No my eligibility is still under review. I have a review required on my sibling relationship document since July and I have already ordered gcms thrice and its frustrating because they all are same . I had ordered the last one in November.

Guys! I just received the PPR email :).

My AOR is June 4. The delay was partly on my end as it took me a month and a half to obtain a PCC from a country i had visited (but had stayed there less that 6 months so had not expected CiC to request for PCC). I had sent an email to CPC Ottawa on Thursday and then had followed up with a call to CIC. I don't know if that triggered anything.

I have not received the same message in my cic account - is that normal??

Thank you all so much for the support - and especially @tobs @cansha :) . I hope we all get our PPR emails before the end of the month.

Congratulations!!!

Dear Members

Can you please guide me, if it is feasible/workable to land in Canada and return back in 3/4 days and could all paper work related to PR card, SIN and medical card could complete in those 3/4 days.

Thanks & Regards
PR card paperwork is done right at the airport. SIN can be done in 30 minutes on a weekday. Medical card can't be done unless you are staying in Canada.

Hi are you an inland applicant or Outland ?

Yes and to Ottawa too. May take some time but you'll get it. Congrats on the approval.
Sure tobs.
Do you have the links to the sample emails many used to email ndvo after approval.
Also should I email them separately or cc the other in the same email?
