I have a question for you . Are you sure that ppr from ottawa will be delivered to our emails around 9 :00 pm to 11:00pm ( ottawa time ) ??
It's usually batched & sent around that time. But it doesn't matter what time you get it. right?

Guys, I feel like ordering GCMS or CBSA, at this moment, what do you guys suggest?

Dear Officer,

My name is <A poor PR Applicant>.

Please find below my Express entry application details:

Application Number:
UCI:
Date of Birth:
AoR:

As you can see, I am approaching the completion of 8 months, since my AoR. For the last 3 months, I have been told that my Security has not begun and the reason is "Officer review is pending".

Now, before you share your favorite, generic response "Each application is unique and it is difficult to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion. Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required regarding the next steps in your file", I would like to ask, how is it that my Application pending a review by an Officer for 3 whole months, makes my application 'unique' and not how you process it?

Perhaps, CIC should update its templates which you use to reply to CSEs and Emails, that "We approach each application in a 'unique' way and hence it is difficult to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion". How about that?

When we know the reason for the delay is - 'Officer review pending', how can you say that it is difficult to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion? Ideally, you should be able to request that Officer to complete the review ASAP. Isn't it? I can't understand what is stopping you from doing it.

I do not want to be rude, but if my application is pending an Officer review for 3 months, it makes me think that CIC is alarmingly under-staffed. It is high time that you need to raise the flag to your management and hire more Officers to avoid such delays.

Best Regards,
<A poor PR Applicant>

I wrote it. Read it 10 times. And it felt good. Didn't send it.

Nicely written. But thing is security not started contains a fairly big group of people. So I guess we cannot do much. But still I will recommend to reach out.

Guys! I just received the PPR email :).

My AOR is June 4. The delay was partly on my end as it took me a month and a half to obtain a PCC from a country i had visited (but had stayed there less that 6 months so had not expected CiC to request for PCC). I had sent an email to CPC Ottawa on Thursday and then had followed up with a call to CIC. I don't know if that triggered anything.

I have not received the same message in my cic account - is that normal??

Thank you all so much for the support - and especially @tobs @cansha :) . I hope we all get our PPR emails before the end of the month.
Congratulations Hanna!!! Its so good to see that 1 minute you were talking about the CSC response and the other minute you were talking about you PPR... Happy for you.

By the way, in how many days they are replying on CSE raised on status.
I raised a CSE on Friday still waiting for their response.

You wrote too many texts, they don't wanna spend so much time on an individual.
