Wait for a while ! It'll visiblenever got that progress bar email, my account looks no different today...
You're the second or third person on this forum that they told to get back to them in an additional 4 months time if nothing changes. My CSE response was that the office has been contacted for further steps and if I don't hear anything by 04/04/2019 I can raise a CSE again
Looks like it. Although why they want additional 4 months for approved cases, no one can tellYou're the second or third person on this forum that they told to get back to them in an additional 4 months time if nothing changes.
Seems like they are gonna increase processing times to 10 months.
Yes. All of us have to do this!!After reading this I actually redid the survey on a different browser choosing I could see the progress bar. They ask us whether the progress bar is useful or not. Ofcourse I chose no. Then there is a text box for comments and I said
Merely adding 6 months to AOR date is not showing "progress". if you want to show progress give actual details of the steps in between and a "real" estimate of the process. The gimmicks don't help the candidates. Show some empathy to candidates please.
In the next page I "strongly disagreed" with usefulness of the said progress bar.
Request to everyone, please do the survey and let them know that this thing has zero advantage and utility to the candidates. Not sure it will help but we need to make our voice heard. Thanks!
But STILL:Wait for a while ! It'll visible
Though sorry to disappoint u hvg bar or no bar make no huge difference ..
IRCC tryin to tell in black & white wait for ur turn ( Date mentioned on the Bar )
Took same actions as you. Last time I called CIC was December 5. Agent said file is still in Sydney and didnt mention a secondary VO. Ordered notes on Nov 17 so they should arrive in the next week. Agent also told me she will put in a request since I have passed 6 months. The reply i got for CSE says a decision has been taken on my account and rest assured I will be contacted with the decision by the designated office. And so I'm back with no news of PPR, but with gcms notes..
My timeline
AOR Jun 3
Ip1 Jun 15
IP2 Oct 15
Ghost Oct 18
As expected gcms notes says
Final : Approved,
The last update happened on 17th of October with the Officer comments as approved. RFV.
But, there is a new secondary office added to the list and that's "New Delhi". The date when this was added wasn't mentioned, but it wasn't there in previous notes. Notes was ordered on Nov 11th and received yday. (when I called the agent on Dec 4, after crossing 6 months she mentioned my file is still at Sydney).
My question is to the ppl who have been sitting approved at Sydney. Can you please confirm if there's an addition to your secondary offices too.
So far, actions taken
Called agent : he has written a mail to Sydney requesting action.
Raised CSE : again escalation took place
So far, both of them didn't yield into anything fruitful.
And that's it
@ishq74 @shishirkona tagging you in case you want to chime in
I didnt receive any emails regarding the progress bar and its not visible on my profile.Has anyone with an already approved application received the email regarding this bar? Or let me ask the opposite has anyone with an application still in progress not received this email? I know this bar does not mean anything but I am just curious that some applicants received it and some didn't. I mean it is just weird that they lost time choosing only some applications when they could have sent it to all the applicants automatically
I got a different response! My response says a decision has been made on my application and rest assured I will be contacted with that decision from the concerned office. My CSE response was that the office has been contacted for further steps and if I don't hear anything by 04/04/2019 I can raise a CSE again
I can see the progress bar now with the same 20% message I am also feeling we might not get PPR soon.I did not receive any email related to the progress bar but this morning a boring linear full blue colored progress bar appeared in my account with a message which is basically saying I am in the unfortunate 20% group whose application takes longer than six months to process.
But IRCC confusing themselves. Their immigration and citizenship act saying six months starts from R10 and ends when a decision is made but here they are counting six months from AOR date!!
I was totally uninterested in this over-hyped progress bar hence did not worry at all regarding not receiving emails related to it. Raised CSE today as I have completed 6 months yesterday but seeing @CoolSandy 's GCMS notes and @shishirkona 's CSE reply I am not very hopeful to get anything fruitful. I am afraid we are not going to receive PPR until Feb-March next year!
Cheer up mate! I'm sure the message is kind of automated to be included in applications that have crossed the 6 months timeline. It means nothing!I can see the progress bar now with the same 20% message I am also feeling we might not get PPR soon.
