I am currently in Canada from last 2 years, so I applied on June 2nd 2018
Medical Passed june 12th
Inland FSW application
No update on my profile.
What should I do as it is already coming to be 6 months

As such no one can do anything to expedite. But what is the background check status on your profile?

Yeah, nothing's strange when it comes to IRCC not following a strict timeline for processing applications. However, you can order GCMS notes, if you haven't already and/or call them to get the exact status.

Actually its not that difficult.. i always get thru on first attempt.. a few simple tricks.

Got to know from IRCC agent that the file is approved and still at Sydney office.
PPR mail will be either triggered from Ottawa Or local visa office depending on where it gets transferred.
Mostly they process all applications by 180days but can't assure.
I don't know understand why Sydney is holding our files back when they have nothing to do with it?

Also I got to know from IRCC website that they processed 93% applications within 180days last year (April 2017 to March 2018)
So they calculate thr stats from April to March..and not from Jan to dec

I did not like how this guy is trying to blackmail people.
the trick is simple you :

1. Call CIC number 888-242-2100
2. Press 4 instead of 1... you will be put on hold in citizenship queue when agent picks up ask that you wanna get the update on ur EE profile, she will redirect you to Immigration queue.
3. I have done this few time it always work. but you have to wait twice as long one in citizenship queue(~30min) an then in Immigration queue(-45min)
4. but you will get through every time and if citizenship queue is full you can just redial since you only press 1 number.
