So, just wondering...how many of you guys were told "application approved", but still haven't received the e-mail?
@Adesua, @amypls4, @UPmyst, @Matt@123, @shishirkona, @Micky345, @CoolSandy, @Donald Trumppp, @Musa1234, @Vikraal22, @Sydney2018, @nishatmohamedfami were some I could find. The date you were told the application was approved is the day you had IP2 or ghost update?

Same day as ghost update.

So we just got off the phone,my wife and I [we shared the earpiece to listen ]
Agent confirmed the following
Criminality passed
Security passed
Background check completed.
We called about a a month ago to confirm eligibility
Said last day file was worked on was 6th of November
Said she can see everything is fine but should call if we havent gotten it by Dec 29[ as usual 6months timeframe]

She coudnt confirm if it's approved yet but says as final decision is what's holding it and VO remains Ottawa.

My Eligibility was recommended pass on July 11th and since then it has not changed at all.
after you analyst marks Eligibility as recommended pass, Then primary officer need to mark it as Met. but it depends on an officer how busy is his schedule and how long he will take for him to get to your file.

Mmmmm..that is sad to hear ..is it that the background check and eligibilty are linked ?
Until your background is cleared they won’t do our eligibilty check ..

ya i think they going to wait until your background is cleared. for you at least they started background check but for mine its still says background check Not Started.

This shows their ignorance regarding processing timeline. Six month timeline starts from the day you pass R10 completeness check (same day or few days after you pass medical) not from the AOR date. Your file is at final stage, I believe you will receive ppr this month very soon.

Guys i need urgent help!!!!

I was just going through my documents that i uploaded on my express entry profile. I had not uploaded the marriage certificate which was in non-english language. I have only uploaded the english translation. I am panicking now. I am in IP2, should I upload my marriage certificate in my native language using a CSE form?

Dear xxxx - I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Mar xx, 2018. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney.



I have good news – your file was approved Nov 5, 2018.



You will receive notification and instructions in the coming weeks.

Medicals are valid until Mar 9, 2019.

March AOR guys r also getting similar treatments from Sydney VO. Approved and pending for PPR. Will CIC prioritise them for releasing PPRs considering their wait time?

ya i think they going to wait until your background is cleared. for you at least they started background check but for mine its still says background check Not Started.

Yeah I wonder how long the background process will take ..:-(

The status of your application would say “application / profile updated” instead of “submitted” but there won’t be any actual change on your application. It will change back to submitted after you check it.

My AOR is June 9. My eligibility is recommended pass but BG not started as per the agent. File was last touched on July 29. There has been no update after that. Visa office is Montreal. Anyone else in similiar Situation? I'm really worried now.

Hi, Agent means the person you got application filed? My PR has been filed through a lawyer, will he have access to insight? Can I avail this option?
