What are you worried about ? What do you think can expire ?
My LMIA.. It had validity more than 12 months when it was locked on June but by now it would have gone down and looks like I will be with 6-8 months validity when it goes to officer for approval. I am not in the position to renew the lmia at any point as I have moved back to India now. And I am not sure whether officer will consider the LMIA from the locked date or from the date when he receives the file.

Surprisingly a dry day until now. :-(

btw people.. CIC keeps a track how many times u call... again don ask me how.. but i am tellin ya...
Every call that is made to IRCC shows up on GCMS. It’s treated like an “inbound communication”.

yea .. one is team.. other management.. 3 product.. blah blah

There is a misconception among some forum members that scheduled maintenance of IRCC website will result in PPR rain. PPR comes in the form of email or a message in GCkey account and it can be done on the fly. If there are multiple PPRs to be issued then they can do it through a batch job. They don't need to bring down entire IRCC website down to send out the PPRs.
There was an incident few months ago when a scheduled maintenance resulted into many candidates moving to IP2 on same time but it was a one off situation and many members have confirmed that they saw a terminology change after the maintenance. So we can not conclude that the maintenance was the reason behind bunch of people moving to IP2. You can read more about it here

In recent past, we have also observed changes like new layout, bio-metric requirement updates etc after scheduled maintenance.

I don't want this to sound discouraging to anyone, just don't want people to have false hopes and adding more to already increasing disappointments when these hopes result into nothing.

There is another misconception about ordering GCMS notes impacting processing times (positively/negatively), this has been clarified many times on this forum and there was a tweet from official handle of IRCC that ordering GCMS notes doesn't impact processing times, check here

Hope we all get our PPRs soon :)

Thanks for the note, my friend.

We all wish for the best. We tend to bring positivity into a neutral event like maintenance. Even though maintenance may not issue PPRs, it might clear the probable hurdle or make the system more efficient/faster.... Anything that keeps our undying hopes alive.

:)

so this is what i did..

1. keept my account active in BOA.
2. Open account RBC Canada and RBC USA.
3. Moved cash freely between them and voila MOney came in, since the amount was more than a threshold value( wont disclose). I had to it 9 times or more, but RBC agreed to it for free.
4. I opened a TSA accound in RBC which gives extremely high interest rate and is tax free by Canadian govt.
5. Sold my assets in US.. moved money again through RBC.
6. once all clean up done. Shut down my RBC USA account.
Is TSA = Time Savings Account?

I doubt whatsapp is used for business. It's more of a 'let's chill out and places to get wasted' kind of thing. I'm up for it
