I think it must have taken 3 days, just guessing by the dates between IP2 and Ghost.
I think my application got approved on the day of my ghost update.. Because I have been reading threads and ppl like @Vitseze reported that they called CIC on the day they got ghost update and came to know appn approved.. However it took 3-4 weeks for them to receive official ppr mail
I forgot to ask my VO
Hope urs get processed soon too! Good luck!!
If your file had and IP2 and a ghost update ... chances are more of your file being in Ottawa.

Hello folks,

U know what.. these cic agents mislead you at times . I was told on 24th october that my application has been approved and a mail has been triggered from their end too requesting passports. It will reach me in 5 working days. I was on cloud nine.

Today when i talked to the agent, though she was very polite, she told me that my file has been approved but no mail has been sent from their end yet. I seriously don't understand, whom should i believe? Why things don't work that simple ?

Hi, I'm a new member here. I was doing everything myself and started following this forum since October beginning when I saw no movement in my application. This forum has helped a lot. Thank you all.

Just had a call with CIC. The agent said my eligibility, criminality, and security is passed. The processing on the file is approved and the file has been transferred from CPC-Ottawa to CIO, Nova Scotia. From there it will be transferred to LVO who will then send a mail requesting my Passport.

He also said the he can't share the timelines for next steps. It can be anything from 1 day to 8 weeks and I have to be patient.

He added the application will be certainly finalised before December 7, 2018.

My Timeline:
AOR: June 7, 2018
Medical Passed: June 21, 2018
IP1: June 21, 2018
IP2: October 15, 2018
Ghost Update: October 18,2018
Your IP2 and Ghost updates are same as mine and he said the same to me. Unfortunately I didn't ask my VO. So don't know where my file is currently
Let's hope we receive it this week

Hope so too.. But one member here(with IP2 and Ghost same as mine ) @ura mentioned his file being transferred from Ottawa to NS and agent confirmed his file also got approved. Not understanding why they are transferring files at this stage

I was happy about hearing the news but now after reading bad reviews about Nova Scotia VO, I'm worried a little.

Still keeping my fingers crossed.

Good Luck.

Hi, which stage are you in ? Was this a ADR or did you submit an unsolicited document ?

Wasn't an ADR. I am in IP1 (timeline in signature). Got to know through GCMS that my application is in 'Review required' for POF (you can chk my previous posts on this thread to know more about my situation).

PPR here! :)

This one being my first post. I would like to thank each one of you all!

I had been a passive member here! [I know, I'm sorry ;)]

A special thanks to these guys for indirectly but directly assisting me; @Micky345 @cansha @navinball @Vitesze @sid1987

AOR: June 22
MEP: July 09

Hi Everyone!!

Just wanted to know what will be the best time to travel to CANADA with my wife?

1) Considering the weather.

2) Considering the job prospect.

Any suggestions and recommendations are highly welcome.

Edit:

We were actually planning to go by Feb end or March 1st Week.
DO not come in FEb... it sucks... snow and shit and extreme cold... so ...
2. job is different issue mate.. nothing has to do with month
