Hello everyone, Now that we have moved to IP2 after almost four months, I am believing that PPR might be around the corner (at least I would like to believe so). My wife and daughter are currently out of Canada for vacation and will return to Canada at the end of November. Should I get an email for landing appointment, is there a possibility to reschedule it? Alternatively, can I do my landing interview (provided I get PPR) and my family do the same at the airport when they return to Canada? Please share your insights.

As far as I know a primary applicant can 'land' before the dependants but I'm not sure how it goes with landing appointments as those are fairly new. I think the best best would be to raise a cse marked urgent as soon as you get the notice.

Also I've heard a lot of people have had long waits for a landing appointment so hopefully that works in your favour.

Guys one thing i want to know that how u people connect to CIC agent on call.
In my case i always not able to connect the call. Always end up with that automated status.

Can anybody tell me that trick to get reach to CIC agent on call?

After the automated status it gives you the option to join the queue. As long as it isn't full you'll get connected. If it's full call back no more than 5-10 minutes later.

I will try today again

This is my 7th week since my dep applicant in overseas received PPR request and got COPR. However, am still waiting for my landing appointment. When I called the agent, he said that I have to wait for 10 weeks and then raise a concern. Let God gives me more patience. Anything alternative that I can do??

My aor is 6th June. It's been so frustrating waiting for ppr after moving to ip2 in August. I can imagine your frustration. There is nothing you can do to expedite your process. At least you can order GCMS notes to get to know about your case.

Is it true that the PPR email goes in the Spam folder. I have a gmail account and was wondering?

Is the relationship real? Did you provide documents as per guideline on CIC website? If you say yes to the above questions, then you don't need to worry. I am an example for you. My eligibility was "review required" for a month because my common-law partner is in Canada but not- accompanying. My eligibility was eventually approved by VO, as per phone conversation that I had with a CIC agent yesterday.

Hey just wanted to know if you got your PR or not ? I ordered my second set of GCMS notes and they are exactly the same. It seems like they have send me the exact same notes again!!!

That so frustrating. Hang in there buddy. Hopefully you only have 3 more weeks to wait. On the bright side at least you know it's gonna happen for sure.
