@usa applicant: Did anyone send passport after PPR approval email using FedEx from the USA? I tried today and both FedEx and UPS said they can't provide the pre-paid self-addressed envelope. Anyone has found the solution

Fedex will do it. You need to create account with them. We did it when we sent transcripts fro WES evaluation. We had to sent return envelops for some docs.

FedEx will definitely do it and is the preferred shipper for the return. There are a few posts about it (example) in the US applicants thread. There's also another thread dedicated entirely to sending passports from the US to Canada, and Mthornt included some very helpful information that he received from IRCC for generating the label in one of his posts.

Make an account with FedEx online and either select the option to also generate a return label when you generate your outgoing label with them, or just generate a label with you as the recipient coming from the office in Canada. In the customs areas, you can indicate that you're shipping immigration documents.

Don't worry too much about the return envelope. They didn't like the envelope I sent and returned my CoPR in an entirely different one. :P If you bring your labels to a FedEx shipping location, though, they can help you choose the right envelopes and help you make sure they're labeled correctly. The one we have in town here is awesome and I wish I'd used FedEx to ship both ways instead of just the return.

Your security is ongoing. Once it is complete you will receive ppr. Now you have almost no chances of rejection unless they find something very nasty about you. You can check officer's notes to see the date you have passed eligibility. You should receive ppr within 2-3 months from this date. If you do not get ppr after 3 months from the eligibility passed date then there is a possibility of getting into unfortunate security screening. But currently I am 100% sure you are not in security screening and anytime soon you will receive ppr.
first time i hear that after eligibility is passed more likely it will take 3 months to receive ppr..?please advise?

Criminality & Security might take a long time. I don't think any notes regarding security are being shared in GCMS notes, so you won't see the rpogress on that, just if it' started or finished.

GCMS notes are ordered through external service provider and you can follow up with them directly. IRCC has no role to play I guess.

I am going to apply BOWP in few days. I am filling the form IMM5710 and I am halfway through. I do have some questions on the application. we need some senior to throw the light.

Just got off the phone with IRCC.
June 17 AOR.

They told me that my eligibility is still under review and none of the other processes have started yet. I asked specifically about security check and criminality and they said not started. I asked if eligibility is recommended pass and they said NO it is under review.

How come after 4 months and my eligibility is still under review? Is their something wrong with my application or something they can’t verify?

I didn't say more likely, I said it may take upto 3 months to complete the security procedures. This information is based on observing many applicants time lines. Usually security starts after eligibility is passed. Security procedures are out of IRCC's control and cannot be fit in any particular timeline so if the ppr is not issued even after 2-3 months from the eligibility passed date then applicants are advised to order CBSA, CSIS notes to check whether the applicant in security screening or not. This information is redacted from gcms notes. Having said that, I have seen applicants receiving ppr after 8-12 months without being in security screening. So unless security screening is confirmed from CBSA notes, anything is possible.

No update since then. eligibility still under review.
