No offense but I am just wondering how on earth you went to the same consultant or different one even after getting a refusal because of their idiotic mistake? If you know your application number then call IRCC to know your application status. Alternatively you can order GCMS notes through third parties like getgcms.com or gcmsbuddy for usd $10-15. It will take thirty days to reach you via email, you will know details about your application. Most of the June applicants are waiting for the Passport request, so you can wait it out as well.
I know what you mean. But they had realized their mistake and said they’d want to correct it for me.
I haven’t called or emailed the CIC yet, just too pessimistic to hear anything negative after the refusal.

My GCMS notes have the following sentence by the case analyst:
"Recommendation: Recommend pass MI3 A11.2 Appears met, R87.1 CEC Minimum Requirements- Appears met. Ready to finalize RPRF- Complete."

What do these abbreviations mean, and what does it mean when they say my app is "ready to finalize". Sounds like I should have a PPR, but nothing yet.. :/
Ignore that Ready to Finalize ... It is there in every GCMS notes. My guess it is a field name. Unless there is another value in front of it .. it has no meaning. for example I think it is similar to say A11.2 (field name) but in front of A11.2 you see Appears met ... There is nothing in front of ready to finalize so don't read too much in to it. If you want check page 2 where you will see a summary. In that summary you will see blank in front of this and "Recommended Pass" in front of eligibility.

I am also in the same boat. As my application turned to ip2 on 22 August and since then I haven't got any reply except a ghost update after 10 days.
probably your visa might have been approved on the date of the Ghost update. Was the ghost update via email or in the CIC profile?

It's normal for cases tagged review required to take more than 6 months.
Thanks for this bit of information. Do you mean 6 months from the date when the note was made or the 6 months from AOR? Also, is there a way to check the trend for the typical processing timelines for cases marked for review? Thanks.

Finally moved to IP2. AOR June 11, MEP June 24, IP1: June 24, IP2: October 9, Nationality: India, Location: USA.

Does anyone know if IP2 means eligibility passed? I am not sure when they start background check but my account indicates they started background check.
i am in IP2 but eligibility is still review required

6 months from the r10 ie completeness check. General trend I see from the review required threads is 6 months to a year. You will be lucky if it's just 6 months. You can search the forums for review required threads.
