Hi guys,

Can anyone help me with the below:

=================================
Hi guys,

Can you please have a look at this and tell me what do you think is going on?

FSW - outland - Ontario PNC (expires 30-Oct-2018)
AOR: 12-June-2018
Medical passed: 28-June-2018
Primary visa office: London

GCMS notes request # 1: 07-Aug-2018
Notes received: 07-Sep-2018

GCMS notes request # 2: 07-Sep-2018
Notes received: 10-Oct-2018

Application status: in progress
Elygibility: NOT started
Security: NOT started
Criminality: NOT started
Medical: passed

Application Assignment:
Assigned to: RC-XXX
Assigned by: LJXXX
Due Date: 18-Aug-2018 --- what does this mean ???

Alsi, from both GCMS notes it appears that my file was last updated on 19-July-2018. Which means that no one looked at my case in the past 3 months!

No specific reason is mentioned. However, towards the end of the report, there is a note saying:

Review type: case processing agent application: xxxx, RECOMMENDATION: please review information regarding visa refusal.

This note was created on 12-July-2018

I believe the agent is referring to a visit visa refusal i declared when i filled up the visa refusal question in my application. I applied for a visit visa to New Zealand and it got rejected for no specific reason.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process, i cant believe that no one touched my file since mid July, and my PNC will expire on Oct 30th.

Thank you in advance
It's normal for cases tagged review required to take more than 6 months.

This is not true at all. PR application is completely different but you must declare your immigration history as a part of admissibility test. This is a big sign of the ignorance of your consultant. I hope she did not messed up your application in any other section.

There are two specific question regarding this in the statutory declaration section of the Electronic Application for Permanent Residence. The questions are-

"Has XXXX been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or application to Provincial Nomination Program) or Visitor or temporary residence visa to Canada or any other country ?"

"Has XXXX ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or order to leave Canada or any other country?"

You must answer "YES" to these questions if you had a visa refusal. But in your case if the consultant ignored them and answered "NO" then it may get considered as misrepresentation by the Visa Officer, because hiding immigration history is an offense. If you read any GCMS notes available in this forum or in google search, you would see a section called "Integrated Search (FOSS/GCMS)" which is the database search of previous visa application history.
I would strongly recommend you to raise CSE and inform IRCC about it and order GCMS notes after two weeks to check the progress of your file.

Hope it helps, Good Luck!
Thank you so much for your quick reply. I just want to reiterate, I am the dependent, so the questions you mentioned above as part of the statutory declaration applies to me as well?

Is it normal for those with visa refusal to have review? Now i worry because i also have visit visa refusal from US few years ago and no specific reason was given. But i am just a dependent and were on NBPNP.

Hi guys! This is an urgent question, I would greatly appreciate fast replies. Based on the above post, I am a bit worried as I was refused a visit visa to Canada back in December 2017 when I applied from the U.S. My husband is the primary applicant and I am the dependent applicant.
I recently found out that my consultant did not mention my visa refusal in our PR application. She said there's no interdependence between the visa refusal and our PR application. Is this true? Or should I raise a CSE and send a letter of explanation to IRCC?
If there is no interdependence then they won't have the 'any refusal' question in the application correct? Your consultant has the IQ of a potato.

Yes for dependents as well. It is part of the admissibility.

Hi All
I’m new here.
Been following this thread for a while and it gives a high sigh of relief to see I’m not the only one stuck (as otherwise mentioned by my consultant).
My consultant had previously put the wrong NOC code (ending with 5 instead of 4) because of which I had a refusal in feb.
I again submitted my docs with a letter stating the mistake in previous filing.
So far I have had no updates whatsoever. But just to add one more person to the boat, I received my AOR June 9 and been stuck in IP1 since June 22.
Hoping for at least some update, since my consultant is too rigid on not following up with CIC.
But any comments or anyone had some similar experience?

Hello guys
My application is on IP2 status from 17-Aug-18.
But still there is no PPR Request from Immigration office.
I also asked for GCMS Notes on 20-Sep-18.

Please guide me that how much time will take to get PPR Request.?
I am also in the same boat. As my application turned to ip2 on 22 August and since then I haven't got any reply except a ghost update after 10 days.

No offense but I am just wondering how on earth you went to the same consultant or different one even after getting a refusal because of their idiotic mistake? If you know your application number then call IRCC to know your application status. Alternatively you can order GCMS notes through third parties like getgcms.com or gcmsbuddy for usd $10-15. It will take thirty days to reach you via email, you will know details about your application. Most of the June applicants are waiting for the Passport request, so you can wait it out as well.

I have not spoken to the banks yet, but was thinking if they will allow me to keep the bank accounts open without me being here, I mean without any valid US address. Once I have more info on this , I will update here in case someone else is also looking for it.
If you from india - you can put your money in an FCNR account where your money will be 7 dedicated foreign currency, but will be locked for a min of one year. But, this is like FD so you get the interest for the money!!.

Hi all, I witnessed a strange thing on my GCMS. The NoC code for my spouse was changed by cic to 4419000 (New worker) even though we both have exactly same profiles and worked in the same organisation and were issued similar experience letters and applied under the same NOC (Financial and Investment Analyst). Has anyone seen/heard of this situation before? My spouse was the secondary applicant btw.

Work experience section as far as I can recollect.
I had the same thing too. Spouse NOC was changed like yours..

My GCMS notes have the following sentence by the case analyst:
"Recommendation: Recommend pass MI3 A11.2 Appears met, R87.1 CEC Minimum Requirements- Appears met. Ready to finalize RPRF- Complete."

What do these abbreviations mean, and what does it mean when they say my app is "ready to finalize". Sounds like I should have a PPR, but nothing yet.. :/

Ready to Finalize means you are almost there. RFV will follow in a month or so.
