Why are you guys giving him false hopes? Plenty of ghost updates led to nothing. If it leads to ppr good otherwise no point in raising expectations for nothing

Just called CIC. The agent said my eligibility is "recommend pass" BG hasn't started yet. I asked which VO my case at . She told me my case is still in Ottawa center which hasn't sent to any specific visa offices. Disappointing I am applying from the US....

Don't they also handle the full applications in Ottawa?

Yes ottawa vo. But i think the central intake office is different than ottawa vo

Eligibility was 'MET' for my application too when I called about 3 weeks ago, but it is still in Ottawa office only. Is there any reason to believe that further processing or BGC will only start when it is transferred to another LVO?

what will u decipher using that info... now tell me...

Nothing much.. But i guess it would feel nice if details were similar to my application..
Of course, we cant really draw any conclusion even if the details were similar, but still the knowing that similar applications are moving does soothe the anxiety a little bit..

No they dont.. e.g. My application is being processed at Calgary CIC (I just dont know why)...

I guess the intake center is in Ottawa (different department with Ottawa visa office) and there are some visa offices around the country which include Ottawa visa office. Also after pass the eligibility then our cases will send to local visa office for the next step..... I don't know if I am wrong
