Most of the people are stuck at ip1. They have really slowed down processing it seems. It was real quick a couple of months back. Just hoping they buckle up and shower pprs soon.

Don’t worry. It’s not the case only for June applicants. I have seen many people from March April and May also stuck at ip1.

Lets hope we all pass this stage soon.
Some people think it may be because of influx in student visa application during month of August. From what I have read the Student visa load should have subsided by now. So let's hope last two weeks of August are much faster.

Hi,

I have had that status since june 28th. And have uploaded the biometric detail. But still those columns are blank. Did you see any difference to those columns after the details were uploaded.
Hi,

Did you received a request letter asking for biometrics? Also when was your AOR?

Best of luck!

Hi,
My AOR was on 16th June.
And received a request letter to do the biometrics on 28th June. The same day my medical status showed as passed.

Hi everyone !
Got my golden email just a little while back!
Timeline is in my signature.
Thanks to everyone on this group for their support during this journey!
I’m so happy for you! Congratulations!!

Does anyone know if they ask you for new PCC if your PCC is expired. Mine is expired since it's been two months. My PCC was 4 months old when i submitted my application on June 11. MEP: June 26. IP1: June 26. No movement since then. Now i am thinking if they will ask for new PCC. In this situation, should i order PCC before they request new PCC. Any advice or similar experience anybody has then please do share.

Does anyone know if my BOWP application will be rejected if my PR(CEC) gets rejected?
My BOWP is still under process

TIA

If your PR application gets rejected before they make a decision on your BOWP, then your BOWP will be rejected too.

So a quick update from my side. I called CIC today and spoke to a very helpful agent. He said my eligibility is currently "Recommended Pass", and my background /criminality check is in progress. Visa Office is Ottawa. Any insight in how much longer :)?
