Anyone got any updates during this long weekend...

Hi Guys,

So my hubby called CIC and lady wasn't very happy or cooperative, she said that they are working on BG and there i no more information.how long BG goes on?we are inland applicants and we passed medicals on June 22 and Provided rcmp report on July 4th....

Same here. I called the office and a lady answered but she wasn't very helpful or cooperative and did not give me any information. My AOR is June 8th and she didn't seem very happy and told me that I was calling too soon!!

Consider it your luck that you ended up with such an agent. There are some who are helpful as well. But they do have a point that its a bit soon.
Lot of people have been calling them even those who submitted in July which is not good.

yes i agree!! I just got impatient because a lot people are getting their PPRs too soon!! But i learned that all cases are different!! My husband has extensive travel history and may be our case is with a slow visa officer or whatever!! I am gonna wait until thanksgiving now before I call them again!! I'll just let it go and let the application take its course!!

Yes comparison never helps and don't ever quote such cases while talking to an agent. As per IRCC, 80% of applications are processed within 6 months. So wait a while, by end of this month you can order GCMS notes to know details.

Ok then wait for 30 days to get those notes. It will help you understand status in detail, much better than talking to agent.

How many photo's we need to upload in our application. It says two copies but I am unsure how combine both photo's in single file. I went to a photographer and he said we cant do that.
Are you talking about e-apr for PR application? Ofcourse one copy only you will upload, why were you trying to merge, doesn't make any sense.
