IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friends... seems like my dream came true! I received the "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa" e-mail at 7:21pm EDT this evening. I am astounded, and so grateful, and so relieved. Thank you everyone who has kept me company through this journey.

I will continue to frequent the boards for some time and wish you all an expedient and painless PR process!

ITA: May 9
AOR: June 12
MEP: June 26
IP1: June 27
IP2: July 10
Ghost update: July 26
PPR: July 26

Congratulations!!

I think all of us were crossing our fingers for you yesterday when you mentioned you had that ghost update :)

I called through my cellphone from US. I know a lot of people have tried calling through Hangouts and were successful. It's probably the high volume of calls, try calling them again. Good luck!

Did your call go through? I have tried calling them a couple of times and I am also calling from the US. After selecting a series of options and just when I am about to be transferred to a representative, this message is played:
We are sorry the toll free number you have dialed is not available from your calling area SCT 11.

This is the number I've been trying: +1 613-944-4000

Did you try some other number?

Congratulations!!

Thank you! It felt like it was so fast from when I discovered the ghost update to when the PPR email came. It feels even weirder because I had that dream that morning. It was clearly a premonition, haha.

I'm crossing my fingers for all of you!

I have the same issue with you ! I don't know why.

I used the same number to call them. I have a T-mobile connection, not sure if it's got to do something with the provider. Did you try Google voice ?

ok guys i need advice i submitted my rcmp check on July 4th since then my profile say's additional documents being reviewed , it's been already 3 weeks?last week i called cic and they said rest assure everything is fine and your application is taking its own path..:eek:any thoughts..?

I'm in the same boat. I had to provide PCC, and this is still being reviewed (for at least 3 weeks, probably longer). Anyway, I think the agent might just have not updated the status?

Same issue with Google voice
Sorry :( I am not sure if there's an alternate number. Did you try calling them more than once and get the same response ? I called at around 11am Eastern Time. And i was on hold for 30 minutes until i got connected to the Representative (this was after the automated system informing me of the status of my application).

Same. I provided my PCC for an ADR two days after you did. It still says they're "reviewing" it.

I assume since the PCC is an integral part of the background check, it may not actually switch to the "Not Applicable" status until the full background check is completed, i.e. PPR?
