GCMS notes can relieve you from this anxiety. Though I was told all processes have been completed on 5th November (got ghost update), I am going to order GCMS notes today and I am hoping this may notify them that only PPR is left in my application. By the way I think next week we may see flurry of PPRs as that would be the last week of the sixth month from Aor for June 1st week applications.
Passed 4 weeks post approval.
As the agent said, files will be sent from Sydney to Local VOs for PPR distribution. Now what if Sydney sends all approved files to Local VOs and Local VOs start to delay again? is it possible by any chance as decision of releasing ppr depends on local VOs?

I'm in similar situation. Case got approved on Nov6(Got Ghost update).
I have ordered GCMS notes on November 5 just a day before Ghost update. Do you think that should suffice? or should I order a new set of notes?
That's fine, your note will be generated on the day of request which is usually a day after you request to your service provider. So ghost update should be included. If you have done it by yourself or you are little skeptical, then no harm ordering again.

To be honest nobody can be sure about the process. All these ip1, ip2 and now ghost update are added terms made up by this forum members based on the processing trends. Now this recent development about the delays after approval is something new to all of us. We have to observe for few months and then can guess what actually is happening.

One thing is sure that, a queue system is in place. For this reason after initial checks a file stays in hibernation for 3-4 months. I know some files get approved immediately after the initial checks. This indicates a labeling system also in place and different labelled applications joins in different queues. Some queues are shorter and some queues are longer and the reason probably the responsible Visa Office and the Visa Officers.

I am sure no one is holding the PPR by purpose it is just this queue system that delaying the process. For any reason Ottawa had to transfer the files to Sydney and most probably Sydney is suffering backlogs and shortage of Officials hence the queue is quite long there. Hierarchy of the officials are like a pyramid. More you go up of the hierarchy you will find less number of officials. That means, Case analysts are less number than program assistants and Visa Officers are far less number than Case analysts. So a Visa Officer has to deal with much more files than a Case Analyst thus the queue for approval is long and "review required" is even much more longer.

Is that protocol same for all?
Because I see many applicants getting PPR from Ottawa VO as well..

Nicely explained! I hope they clear all backlogs and start processing our files soon. this wait is very tiring and all my personal plans are jeopardized. I guess its same for you too

Our files r stuck at Sydney Case Processing Center, Don't know CPSs can release ppr or not. Since Ottawa has CPC and VO both, PPRs r being released from Ottawa VO. I might be wrong. this is what i understood reading multiple threads in this forum.

Hi Guys

AOR: 26 Jun still at IP1

Guys need a little help..I have added my baby in dependant file ...by raising a CSE including every document and receipt.

1. How many days they take to add baby? As I have received acknowledgment that documents have been received
2. Do they inform that baby has been added or we need to keep checking by loggin in and seeing the dependant list?
3. I hope no one else is in IP1 for June applicant
I have added the new born when I was in IP1 and here is the process:

1) Raise a CSE and inform them about the new born. They will revert back in 2-3 weeks telling you to inform your VO with the name of your VO.
2) So if you already know the VO, then dont wait for CSE response and inform the VO through email.
3) My VO was Ottawa and once I wrote an email to them- Next day I got an ADR in my CIC account with the documents required list.
4) I uploaded all the documents through CIC portal and with in 2-3 days the new born was added. Dependent's name and UCI number was showing in the dependent's list.

All the best
