Hi all.

I just wanted to share my updates, I have been reading this thread for months, fibally for PPR! After 2yrs of living in Canada, and 5long months off work (luckily summer was amazing here, I kept busy and positive) I now as we go into the rainy season in Vancouver can get back to work.

AOR June 5 CEC inland
Medicals passed June 13/IP2
Ghost uodate(no email, just profile updated) 17th October
PPR oct 18
No GCMS notes ordered.
Edit: no updates from mid June, no additional doc requested (I uploaded all my tax records etc inline with my supporting work docs.

My documents are sent off to the visa office and should hopefully have my paperwork back within a week.

A big thank you to all posters for their support to everyone. Keep waiting and keep positive. My 4yr dream is finally happening.

I read a few posts on April thread where people are figuring that they need to order notes in month 6. That was sad. I just want to make sure if people aren’t ordering notes its not because of wrong reasons.
Didn't you know that you get a special prize if you get PPR without ordering notes?? Also you get another prize if you never made any calls before PPR. ;)

Ha ha ha. I’m just happy not to get any sur”prise”. Not interested in no call and no notes prizes :D:D
Exactly!!

I got my notes last night. Everything looks normal but eligibility was still met with criminality and security not started. I wish it didn't take a whole month to get notes I would order again today.

That's great! Congrats! My timeline and profile are very similar to yours (June 9 AOR), and this gives me a tiny ray of hope.

MEP and IP1 on June 19th since then, there was no update. its has been over 130 days still @ IP1. I ordered GCMS on October 10th.I was told by CIC agent Recommended pass on August 15th. I don't know what's wrong in my profile. We both have no big travel history only between India and Canada which we submitted the police clearance from both country. Can anyone tell me is there anything that I need to do from my end. I am really worried :( as its not even move to IP2. Thanks for your help fellows

IP1 and IP2 are made up statuses so worrying about them is not really helpful. Whether there is anything wrong with your profile or not we can know only after your notes. However, next week may shower quite a few PPRs on June candidates. So, its possible you may get yours in next week. And if you don't you will have GCMS notes in 3 weeks. Till then you can't do much so hang tight.

As for as I know there is nothing wrong in my profile. I even paid Imm lawyer to submit the profile. Lawyer verified and I verified multiple times before I submit the application. Specially, ECA, roles and responsibilities, medical and police clearance. My wife works in NOC A software Developer and I am working as Technical support NOC B. I believe, I checked everything and submit the application. but, Its got stuck at the same status for longtime. However, your words gave some hope. It would be great if I get PPR next week as you said. Thanks for the positive word :)

Yeah .. don't read too much in to those statuses. They don't get updated regularly and do not in anyway reflect true progress on your file. So, wait for 3 more weeks ... you will have either PPR or GCMS notes to allay all your apprehensions.

AOR: June 05
MEP: June 15
BGC Update: Oct 19: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"
But Eligibility still remains as "We are reviewing your eligibility...."
Oct 20: When I logged into my account, 'Application/Profile Updated', but there is no update in the profile.
Is it normal?
