Meds expired because I took too long to submit my documents post ITA. 2 ITAs lapsed!

Hello folks ...my AOR is June 8....i have called CIC 10 days ago band the gentleman was very helpful....he gave all available details...such as my background check has started and is partially completed...he said my VO is ottawa...when i asked him about the whether it was IP1 or IP2 he said it was IP2......again yesterday i called CIC and the lady was not as helpful as the previous one ..she put my call on hold and checked the status of my application...she said my background check has not started which by the way is shown in my account as well.....she did not say it as recommended pass for the background check and said it has not begun yet....what to make out of this guys...??

That some agents are lazy and don't give a hoot.

It has come to halt. No movements in ppr at all. Checked threads of April and May applicants and hardly see any people receving their ppr. The speed with which they are going, i think we should expect it by november.

Lets just hope we receive our pprs quicker than standard timeline.

We have similar timeline and i also received same reply when i called them few days back. Partially completed according to me would be criminality completed and security screening pending.

Some agents are really helpful and they do reveal more details and if you know exactly how to dig information from them.

yeah.......it is always nice to know some movement in your application than being stuck on the the same phase.....CIC has conveniently places the standard timeline...november will be 6 months .....lets hope it doesn't get pushed that far.....

i have applied from india....the number i have called is ....16139444000...make sure you have your application number and few other details which they might ask for verification purpose in hand ....
