Hey Guys,

Posting my query here, since its been quite in the other group that I posted. And the June group seems to be the most vocal.

My timeline is as follows:

AOR: 18 Aug 2018
Medical Completed/IP1: 9 Sep 2019
IP2: 18 April 2019
Background check completed: 5 May 2019 (got a ghost update, and confirmed from an agent over call)
Medical Extended on 22 May 2019: to 15 May 2020 (not showing on the website, but confirmed by agent over call)

I got married to a Canadian permanent resident on 16 April 2019, notified CIC through web form on 19 May 2019 with all the proofs, letters etc.

Got it confirmed through an agent over call that my wife's details have been confirmed and added in file on 7 June 2019. I imagine nothing needs to be processed further as she is already a Canadian Permanent Resident.

Now here is the thing bothering me, multiple times over call in the last one month agent had confirmed that all checks have been completed and passed (eligibility, security etc.) but couple of days back I got notified that my file has been transferred to London VO and they are verifying if application meets eligibility requirements. Rest of statuses remain valid.

Before this my file had been rotating between Sydney -Nova Scotia, Ottawa and Edmonton offices.

Are they re-looking at the eligibility? Will they again take 4-5 months to complete it? Any reason to relook at eligibility or transfer to London VO?

My place of residence is UAE and am Indian by nationality.

Insights would be welcome.

Thank you

Have you ever ordered GCMS notes. If yes, what did they say? If no, order them now.

I have ordered notes as of 27th May, so another 7 days before I get them. But I am guessing the file transfer would have happened after the notes details so may be will order another fresh set today.

Your notes will show the status of eligibility. Don't go by when agents say they are reviewing eligibility. It means nothing. I got the same reply 7 days before I got my PPR even though my notes clearly showed that eligibility was already done.

The only way of knowing what is happening with the file is GCMS notes. There is no point in speculating over the information provided by agents.

So wait for the notes and don't worry till you get the notes.

they usually don't assess your medical again unless they have some results regarding your SS. But, from your description, I am not sure if they reassessed it or is it just an automatic thing that happens for everyone whose medical got expired.
A day after this message, I received the request for new medical exams. That definitely means my background check including SS are completed right?

Ha ha thanks, I do feel lucky. I see lot of users in this group had been very supportive of each other, which is amazing to see as there is hardly any personal incentive to do so.
Hopefully everyone remaining would get their PPR's soon and start a nice life in Canada.

@Prashant86_2000 Bro, come this monday. I’m officially 1 year !! And 1 month since file at NDVO .. :(
I feel sad for you brother, really not sure where is your application stuck. Can you please call again and ask them if your file has indeed been transferred to NDVO?

Ideally yes. They will ask you for re-medicals only after a decision is made. Also, don't bother if agents tell you that security is pending after re-meds. I was told so...3 days I got PPR.
