Hey I just called up CIC, the agent on call told me that all my background checks have passed and confirmed that eligibility criminality and security all are passed at this moment. He told me to wait as the next step would be a letter for visa. He also said that he cannot put in a note at this moment as it’s under processing and said that it should come anytime soon.

My AOR is Jun 19, 2018. My Background status has been saying : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Since my medicals passed. With no further changes. In January and February, I asked for GCMS notes, where I found a line : "PLEASE REVIEW FOSS FOR STUDENT PERMIT", and it has been this way since last July. Do any of you know what it means/how long it can take?
I have been working on a Post Graduate Work Permit for 2 years now since June 2017, and also have a valid Study Permit as I am completing my Masters part-time. But is this causing confusion? Can I do something here?
All my calls/CSC/emails have come back with the usual generic responses.

Finally after a wait of 323 days got the PPR mail today. Thanks a ton for all your support. I wish all the remaining get PPR's at the earliest. Got my remedical request last wednesday. passed medicals on Monday.

I am in the same situation than you. I wonder how long it will take for the email to be generated.
Well, in my case I will probably receive a request to redo the medical exam first (as it expires on the 6th of June)
