Is it possible ... yes? Will it happen ... Well no one can tell you for sure but IRCC. It can depend on many factors. Wish you all the best!My timeline is in my signature, do you think I can get PPR in the next week?

Best of luck to you. You will most likely get your PPR in August. As long as eligibility is passed you have crossed the biggest hurdle. I trust you will not have any criminal history in your background , so there's nothing a to be worried about now. Your PCC should go through just fineAOR june 8th and in IP1 for over a month now.
I called today!! I tried my luck directly from my cell phone without blocking anything and was very surprised that I got into the queue. After holding for about 20 minutes I got through to a very pleasant agent. He laughed and told me it was "sooooooo early" in the application process to check but he would still do it.
The only new info I got was that eligibility has been met and they have to now verify things like PCCs etc. He said they had all the info they needed and everything was progressing as it should. It's being processed at the Ottawa office. I asked if it stays there and he said it may or may not. It depends on what infomation they need as they do their checks.
I'm probably going to call back mid September to see if anything has changed and decide from there if to order GCMS notes.
Yes, there's definitely a chance. Good luck!!My timeline is in my signature, do you think I can get PPR in the next week?
Are you in the US?As far as I remember the only non US fsw-o pprs in June are from India. I haven't checked immitracker in a few days though.

Since I am traveling right now I wasn't really checking my status regularly and so I don't know when the Ghost update happened. I was pleasantly surprised to see the COPR email all of a sudden. When I logged in after that I did see that I have an update and in the main status page I saw something new:
Although I don't think this applies to me, the "Ghost update" now actually has a material update to go with it.
Thank you and ah, so that change wasn't a part of my ghost update. My bad! I stand corrected.Congrats wish u a happy rest of the trip
This update happend on July 31 as a part of the new regulations for biometrics.
Everyone got this on July 31st when they rolled out the biometrics update. You wouldn't have gotten an "application updated" notice on your application for it, but you likely did get an update when you were marked for PPR.Hey folks, I got my passport request email on August 1 in the evening.

Yes, you will get it faster than everyone else.Guys,
Will our NOC influence the Visa Processing timeline or PPR ?
My NOC is 2232 - Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians.
Dude noc has nothin to do with pr processing.. they just need to see your exp validates.. all people in same stream are considered sameYes, you will get it faster than everyone else.
No criminal history or anything like that but we do have an extensive travel history that includes some flagged locations because of work. I've heard that can cause delays. My hope is a ppr no later than December but I'd love to be pleasantly surprised. The earlier the better so that we'll have enough time to sell our house.Best of luck to you. No, that's why I thought it was odd that our case got sent to Ottawa. Are you in the US?

Edit: I stand corrected about assuming that the biometrics showed up with my ghost update. It looks like that was rolled out for everyone starting July 31.
