just realized today is PPR cold day because CIC was taking PGP expression of interest forms which were filled and closed in 11 minutes.

Someone from September just received PPR.
ya pretty sure there are some people received ppr today but i guess its not like how it was last week. huge batch release. i thought something similar will happen from sydney but it didn't happen.
My application completed 7 months in last week. Monday wasn't promising at all, no movement in June applications. Going through the information shared by people, I understand some applications take time to process owing to complications.
But what's wrong with straight applications (No visa refusals, straight work experience, all documents in order, no review required, no ADR)? What is causing the delay? Have ordered the notes but the endless wait is utterly stupid. I was empathetic towards IRCC until now, but the kind of delay I am experiencing is beyond my understanding.

The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you and your family members if applicable meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which you have applied. You can expect to be contacted if additional information is necessary.
The background verifications are currently being reworked.
The medical examination results on file are valid for you and your spouse.
