It is!Hello everyone,
The email i found for CiC Ottawa is CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. Please let me know if this is the right one. I am planning on emailing them this morning.
Thanks,
Have ordered 4 times and received all four within 30 to 33 days. However, the last time I ordered (December 14th) they are delayed and have been waiting for 41 days so far. When is your friend's AOR?Friends ordered GCMS notes on 21 DEC through GETGCMS, not received yet.
What are the average number of days these days in which people are receiving GCMS notes ?

Hello! We already paid RPRF upfront when we submitted our app. Background check is in IP1 ever since (after MEP on oct 16) - Your application is in progress. How about yours? Did they request for ADR of common law proofs? What did you submit as proofs initially? Our only worry is they maybe havent reviewed our docs yet because it is not showing in cic account. We sent the docs through VFS because they requested a lot, the 5 placeholder they provided online is not enough and still showing “action is required”.Hi mate, we also common-law applying from Singapore with AOR 19th September. Did you have any updates like IP1 or IP2? Did you have RPRF request? We have RPRF request 12 days ago, everything was paid but account status still says "We need additional documents..."
@Explorer77 sorry I might have missed one of your posts, when was your background verification completed? How did you get to know it?Its completely unpredictable. In my case, on 13 Dec the IRCC callcentre agent told me that my security was in progress. When I raised a CSE on 27 Dec, they told me that:
- The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you and your family members if applicable meet the eligibility requirement under the class for which you have applied. You can expect to be contacted if additional information is necessary.
There seems no pattern.
- The background verifications are currently being reviewed
They gave 3 options to send the additional docs - email, VFS and cic account. Because they requested a lot, the 5 placeholder they provided online is not enough so we sent them paper and we dont want to take chance in missing something. So im not sure if they have reviewed or not or they just dont update the online account.Should the PFL be paper posted or uploaded to your online profile?
Hey,@Explorer77 sorry I might have missed one of your posts, when was your background verification completed? How did you get to know it?
I am asking because the response to my CSE last week was also "The background verifications are currently being reviewed" so I thought it might be different from "The background verifications are currently in process".
Indeed, according to a post from @legalfalcon in the thread "The anatomy of a background check" where he/she explains that after completing security checks, CSIS sends result to CIC who then review them to make a decision. Explaining, maybe (at least this is what I like to think), our response about background verifications being reviewed and not "in process" anymore.
Any thoughts?
Got exactly the same email, with different dates of course.Hey,
I got the same response from a CSE reply dated 11-01-2019
- Your application was received at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on August 6, 2018.
- The initial assessment to ensure your application is complete has been finalized on August 27, 2018. Following this assessment, your application was transferred to the Case Processing Center in Ottawa, Ontario. The office will contact you if they need other documents from you.
- The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which you have applied. You can expect to be contacted if additional information is necessary.
Although processing times may vary, rest assured that we are committed to finalizing your application within the regular processing time.
- The background verifications are currently being reviewed.
- Your medical examination results on file are valid.
I guess this means that our files are in the final review stage by a senior officer before the approval ( somebody on the August thread told me this) , also saying that our security and criminality checks have been completed already.
Hope this helps a little.
My application is not approved yet. Still with eligibility met, Criminality passed, security not started as per my last gcms generated on 10 Nov.Guess you will be getting PPR anytime soon ( depends on luck too as few people will have to wait for sometime even after the application has been approved ).
so which number did you call on for cic call centre ?
There's always a place holder to provide additional documents online when they request it.They gave 3 options to send the additional docs - email, VFS and cic account. Because they requested a lot, the 5 placeholder they provided online is not enough so we sent them paper and we dont want to take chance in missing something. So i'm not sure if they have reviewed or not or they just dont update the online account.
If you know the application is approved, please send an email to NDVO and LVOHi, another invader from a different AOR month here...
Stream: CEC
AOR: July 7, 2018
Medical passed: July 21, 2018
Approved: Dec 19, 2018
My application was moved from Ottawa to CIO Sydney on Dec 13, 2018 before being approved 6 days later. I have still not received the Ready For Visa email, and like many others my COPR seems to be stuck in a printing queue at CIO Sydney.
I have called IRCC many times, and an agent sent a message to CIO Sydney on January 7 (as of January 21 the message remained unacknowledged according to another IRCC agent).
I raised a CSE a few weeks ago only to be blessed with Matthew's generic fuck-you-and-wait response. I've since raised another CSE, and sent emails to Ottawa, CIO and NDVO but I won't get my hopes up...
Finally, a few weeks ago I got in touch with the office of my local MP and asked them to look into the delay for me. The MP's case worker called me up about a week later telling me that they'd been in touch with IRCC and that another reminder has been sent to CIO for which they expect a response within 10 business days.
I'm praying I get some good news in the next few weeks as my application nears the 7-month mark. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation and good luck!
Wait for 35-45 days. If it goes beyond 45, email ATIP.29 Sep
