RC-2710 is not a code for analyst. Those codes are for visa offices. So those numbers (my best guess) most probably mean that the application is in a common pool / queue for a visa officer to pick and work on.

Hmmm...so it’s in Ottawa office waiting for a visa officer to be allocated to it? Sounds highly likely since my Eligibility (current status: MET) has been in the queue to be reviewed by a senior officer for ages now Thanks for the analysis based on your notes @cansha Really helps to KNOW what’s going on...otherwise my GCMS notes are just a complex maze other than the first page and the last few pages

Hi Guys,
Can you please help me: I live in the US and got my PPR request in Nov 2018. I got an extension till March 2019 and now need to submit my documents for Visa Stamping in New York.

Looks like they shut down the old Visa Office and all cases are now processed by the new VFS VAC in New York/LA. Has anyone gone through this process. I have a couple of questions:

1- Which forms to fill?
2- What fees is needed?
3- Where to mail in the documents/passports etc?
4- What other documents are needed?

I know how hard all that is, we have a house to sell so it's even more difficult but yeah. Let's hope we get PPRed soon.

Selling house... finally i got green light to get my car which i almost sold.. now.. it was held at customs and inspection because it was supposedly had parts not valid in canada... i had get crtificate from whipple , roush ect to finally get it out after 5 months bloody hell... selling house was another pain.. but again back in june there was sense of certainity

I am from India Paa ji.. Are you in US ? I know its really hard and frustrating to wait with a room (store) filled with your packed stuff, waiting to be transported...

Me and wifey have been trying to keep ourselves in the same routine as usual. Howevers we have started loosing sleep over thoughts. We aren't able to plan anything. People who have their emails are at least able to plan and act....
So except for living life asusual feeling miserable at the same time

Yes, that’s completely understandable. We have already discussed everything in here and speculated all the reasons that might be slowing down application processing but even that doesn’t help as the wait time increases. It’s frustrating but be hopeful that the PPR is round the corner for you .

My situation is nothing different. Trying to get along with routine work. Even alcohol has started feeling less enjoyable(which a definitely a serious concern for me) and my kamine friends don’t shy away from reminding and laughing out loud showing their entire ugly rotten teeth when they get to know that my application is still pending. But what else can I do rather than just biting the bullet. I try to remind them about how Canada is better than other countries and it’s completely worth all the wait blah blah .....but I am running of items in the list.

Nevertheless, I am still very much hopeful about the good news coming soon.

If the file is transferred from one vo to another then in that case it happens . In my case , my application was transferred from CIO where they mentioned eligibility met to NDVO where the eligibility changed from met to not started? As evident from GCMS notes.

Was his VO changed ?

Whn they met then why again they start

Good to hear that you were finally able to move the Car.. Yay...We love our cars, dont we. I had hard time letting my shining one to let go .. ! Yes Bro. Doing things with some certainty keeps you sane. What I/we are doing now is just shooting in the Dark. Though being from the optimistic bunch of homosapines, compels me to keep doing things with calculative Risks. GodSpeed.

Hi All,

My AOR is Oct 2018 however posting here as this is by far most active thread in this forum.

Is there anyone with "Application/profile updated" (Ghost updates) and came to know he/she is under security screening?
Just curious to know I had couple of ghost updates in Dec 2018 since then nothing.

My file is currently in London Visa office.
Appreciate comments / input from anyone.
