Wow, congratulations. Now who will give us stats here.June Family,
So finally the time has come when I get to announce ... I have just received my PPR in my account. I just got a message in my email that I have a new message in my account. When I checked it was the Passport Request note.
This has been a one hell of a wait and really tough journey for me. May be one day I will write about other things as well. But for now I'm more relieved than happy. Saying that this wait has been tough is an understatement and I think only the folks waiting till now can really appreciate how it feels.
My sincere thanks and gratitude to each and everyone of you who have given me your best wishes and blessings.
My sincere thanks to folks who have sent me PMs just to cheer me up and keep me going (some who never post here and have an account just to wish me luck). No amount of thanks can ever repay for a gesture like that. I may have done something right here that some people feel that way for me.
I hope this excruciating wait ends for you all. I really pray for that. I know how it feels.
Thank you all once again!
The internal processing can refer to many things:Respected @legalfalcon,
In continuation with my previous query there are a few of us who have received this response. Can you please help us understand this 'Internal Processing' that is being talked about? What is it actually? And why only for a few people is it taking longer?
Please help.
@arash2002 @tobs sorry for bad news, but 99.9% you are at enhanced SS.I sent an email to CPC Ottawa on 4 Jan about tracking the status of my application. My AOR is on 5 June. I received the following reply. Can someone help me decipher the meaning of this response?
"This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa.
Please be informed that we are awaiting the results of some internal processing prior to the finalization of your application. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times. At this time, there is nothing that is required on your part. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated."
Thanks all

I took your advice on this forum to email NDVO last night and got the PPR today.
Now I am going to write to NDVO to issue another PPR for London(UK) location as I am not based in India.
Good luck to all who are waiting for their PPR , hope you will get it soon !
Cheers
Given that they asked @arash2002 for CV/resume and details of military, the verification refers to security. @arash2002 have you applied for GCMS? Have you received any ghost update? The internal processing can refer to many things:
During criminality it can refer to RCMP verification or Provincial police verification
During Eligibility it can refer to employer verification, or document verification
During security it can refer to investigation or screening by any agency authorized to do so.
Or, it can even simply mean that the application is awaiting a review from an officer.
Unless you are aware of what stage your application is, it is very difficult to pin point. Further, the only way to know the exact stage of your application is through GCMS notes.
Congratulations. Keep us updated on how you change the VO.guys i just got a ppr from ndvo. i am inland applicant. i emailed them yesterday and my file was got approved at jan 04.
After my application was approved, when I raised CSE, they replied saying a decision has been made on my application. So theres a chance yours isnt approved yet - call CIC and ask the agent if it has been approved. Did you get any ghost update?raised but same response that everything inplace nothing is required your application inprocess
Congrats! you can email NDVO asking for a change of Visa Office to submit your passport. Sometimes they tend to ask you for the PPR email from the respective VO. All the best!Hey guys,
Emailing NDVO actually does help!!! Thanks for the suggestions!
So the email I got is from NDVO asking me to send passport and photographs via VFS India. Then at the end there is a section where it says:
If you have a mailing address in Canada and if you and all the accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit your passport(s) to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa.
You are required to send your document(s) together along with a copy of this letter by mail or courier to the following address with the additional following document....
This means my VO is still Ottawa as long as I send my documents to Ottawa, right? I don't have to request for a change of VO from Delhi or something? I'm a little confused because it also says this at the end of the email:
NOTE: Your passports and photos must be received by the visa office in New Delhi within 30 days of the date of this letter. Failure to comply with this request could result in the refusal of your application. Please include a copy of this letter along with your submission.
Thanks
