Hey guys, I raised a CSE today and got the below response in surprisingly 90 mins.

Now I am more interested in know the details for the "file transferred to a visa office" line. My file was in Sydney NS and I hope they have moved it to somewhere to get it worked upon or maybe this is just a template.

Oh man lot of things are happening in my life but this is not budging from its stand.
it seems it has been transferred to your local visa office. They only state that when a file has indeed been transferred.

I too raised a CSE 5 hours ago, but I haven't received any response yet. Let's see how it goes.

Well I hope they have, I guess only way to know will be to call them.

I was surprised to see the response so soon, the automatic response stated 10 business days timesline.

They've been really fast with responses of late. Mostly because they just copy and paste.

Yes from NDVO on the 31st. I'm trying to change VO's (for passport submission) from New Delhi to Accra

Hi Tobs,

I called my local VFS this morning. I explained to them that I received the passport request letter from NDVO even though I live in a different region. They told me that the letter is global and therefore you can submit your passport and other documents at any VFS and they will send it to the respective VO regardless of where the letter is coming from.

In other words, based on what this representative told me, changing your VO is not necessary. I had already requested the VO change anyway but it seems we don't need to wait for them to respond in order to submit our documents.

This makes sense. Probably that kind of explains how NDVO is able to generate PPR email in the first place even when file is not with them.

In this light whoever is handling emails NDVO deserves even more credit to help people who have been kept on wait without any reasons. I think whoever that person is knows how "waiting" feels like. Sadly, people in Canadian VOs don't seem to have that empathy.

That is what I wanted to clarify, if this is just a template or actually they have moved my application to a visa office.

Hi Arod, an acquaintance of mine tried to submit at my local VFS on monday but they refused to accept his passport, telling him that they only transmit passports to Accra.
So I guess VFS operating in different countries have different philosophies.
I'm glad that yours will be seamless.

Understood. The lady I spoke to said that even though the letter asked for the passport to be sent to India they will send the documents to my LVO (Mexico City) regardless.

I'll try to pay them a visit on Friday and see how it goes.

Good. I'll also pay my local VFS a visit tomorrow to hear what they have to say for myself. @TOFluv FYI

After "Every file is different" ... now we have "Every VFS is different" philosophy. LOL. IRCC deserves some credit.

Impossible to say. They have been sending too many copy paste replies and hence the sudden decrease in response time from days to few minutes - hours now.
