hey...did you get any update on your application??
I sent my application on june 7th...same answer they gave me...file not in the system yet.

No....rather when called and confirmed they said your app not received...and now they will reply in 2 weeks..is nt that thorogh unprofessional ?? I.mean now reply in 2 weeks and the further process...have they confirmed that your filie received or not?

File not in system is a better saying than...your app not received...it was their respone to my call

Did you attached barcode for text services with your application package? Generally what happen is CIC mail room receive your application and mail room guy forward the application. Currently there is no such system in which the guy from mail room put and say that file has been received. The guy in call center can only see your file once it is complete and has been uploaded to the system from CPC and technically you receive AOR once the file has been uploaded. I called CIC today and was told that they are currently working on June 6th file (CPC Mississauga). You can only wait because there is no other way to tell if file was rec or not. You can do one thing that if your application rec. date as per courier is older thn June 6th you can ask the CIC agent to create a service ticket and they will send an email to CPC to look for your file. That's the only option. There are few cases in which ppl get AOR after 40 working days but in most of the cases the file has been returned. I hope that wont happen to you.

I just want to know what will happen next? Because tiller now my husband haven't received SA yet.

I am not saying it 100% but it may or may not. I was in the same spot in June my file was returned on June 21st and I re-applied on 30th June. Initially I sent my file on May 10th. And I live in Toronto as they use standard mail service to return the file. But be positive and ask them to create a query saying file missing as they are saying they haven't received your file. At least someone will try to find some answer for you. I know this is stressful because they don't even put the note on return file (in most of the cases, but I have seen that this pattern is changing in July) on SA UCI. So there is no way CIC agent can say anything about the file.
 
Good day everyone!..My documents was returned because we didn't include Representative Form..Now im trying to fill up this form but im a little confused on Question number 3... it states that..... (If you have submitted your application.
A)Name of office where the application was submitted...
B)Type of application(permanent resident, extension of study permit, citizenship, etc..)
..my question is do i have to fill up this line?yes i submitted my application but it was returned..If i had to fill it up,maybe i could put office in Mississauga??and is it Permanent Resident or Spousal Sponsorship...Your opinion is highly appreciated..Thank you...
By the way i send my app May, im just hoping someone here in june thread could help me out..
 
Hello. My app was recieved by cpc missisauga on 15 june. No aor yet. But i today i am able to link my app on gckey through Name Dob and passport info. I can see my app number and UCI id. Will i get aor 1 soon now? Or they can still return my app?

They asked me for receipt number and said we have you on our record...but your file has not been opened yet. wait for 1 week..you will get acknowledgement any time soon. I have no idea what is their definition of SOON , its already too late.

Hello,

Sorry to hear that your application got returned. May I know the Timeline? Also I have seen many ppl getting AOR whose file were rec. after 20th June. And non of them select that option (i.e left blank). So why was it returned? Did you put different email id for both SA and PA generic form? Or something where it may conflict with what was written in application? My file has been returned once and I re-send it on June 30th I am freaking out as I did not check that option and you are the second applicant who got file returned due to this reason. I called CIC today and was told that I can leave that option blank as it clearly says it is not mandatory. And we can upload Use of Rep form later on using webforms. Agent confirmed with me 3 times that a file can not be returned if you have not check the use of rep option.
