@montrealita
the agent told me that there was a system error and instead of sending me an email they sent a letter, but even the letter was not posted :) anyway, she said that they will send me the letter again and also explained that even if I do not receive it, I can be present on the date indicated on ecas because I am in the list.

Hi All,

I took my test in Montreal while I leave in Quebec City. The day after I got the test invite, an agent from Montreal office called me and asked me if I prefer to take my exam in Quebec City but this would lead to further delay, I replied that I don't have any problem to move to Montreal for the test.
I arrived early in the day of the exam and there was a considerable number of applicants taking the test with me.
First, they asked everyone to show up his PR card and test invitation and marked the presence, they we entered the exam hall.
The exam was not so easy the test practice sites and mobile application, so I strongly recommend to study very well and read the book twice at least. After the exam, you stay in your place and you can easily see the officers correcting the exam copies and putting the corrected copies in the applicant's files. They call the names in random order. When you hear name, you move towards the officer who holds your file and she tells you where to go for the interview.
During the interview which I did in French, she verified my passports (the old and the new one), the entry and exit stamps, and gave her the translation of non English or French stamps before she asks for it.She asked about my work, what I do there, my previous studies, what I was doing before coming to Canada, about my family and asked me why I did not apply with my wife in the same file. Then she told me if I prefer to do the oath in Montreal or Quebec City and I told me that it does not matter. I told her that I have a travel plan in April and I would like to have my passport before it and she took a note of that. Finally, she told me that I got 18/20 in the exam and they will send me the oath invitation by e-mail and I should check it regularly.
The whole process from arrival to leaving the exam place took about two and half hours.

In the excel file, what does the header "Decision Made date ecas estimate" really means?

I know my test/interview date. Know my Oath date - what's this 'Decision Made date ecas estimate' in between.

After your test/interview, your ECAS status will change to Decision Made before you get your oath
Oh ok now i get it. But why would we want to take that date into account. It's not that significant.
Anyway, as the excel file needs it, i'll add my dates in threre.

Thanks CanadianSoonToBe

Can you tell us why test was not easy? Lot of name or date questions? Thank you

Some questions were on very fine details in the book, even the comments on the photos. In general, the questions were not like those of practice tests
