June 2017 Citizenship Applicants - (pre C6 rule)

Hi,
I wrote my test and passed on January 17 in Scarborough.
On January 19, the status changed to "Decision Made" and when click on it there is nothing change in the details. Still "4- We sent you a notice on December 20, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test.....".
What dose that mean? accepted and waiting the oath letter OR rejected?

Most likely it means you have passed the exam. Ecas status details does not change for DM. It will remain the same until they slot a date for your oath. When they settle a date for you to take oath you will recieve an email to attend the oath and the E cas also will be updated with new Line. And after the ceremony the status will change to COMPLETE.

Scarborough now doing oath for June applicants. No matter when you did the test your oath call will come by the order you applied - given that your background check is complete.

It can also mean that the application has been rejected. However getting a DM right after interview always is a positive sign. Usually if anything goes wrong during interviews they will give you a scope to explain or send you to the judge.

So relax. I think you would get your oath call in a month.

application received on June 01, july 13 in process...DM on Jan05...

Yup, I live in Toronto. Wondering if there is anyone on the forum who was able to make it through the test without reading Discover Canada and only practiced the tests online?

I only practiced the tests online and so did everyone I know.

Finally, the Oath is done... You are now talking to a Canadian Citizen... haha.

I didn't receive the oath confirmation yet. I tried calling them but the line disconnect on high demand and agents are busy
I sent a web form and yet again didn't receive a reply
I think I'm just going to copy MY ECAS and show up hoping for the best
I would appreciate if any one had the same experience could shed some light on what to do

No news for me yet, but it's still early to contact them, they will just tell you that we have to wait for postal delivery if they have done so. in my opinion we must give ourselves a reasonable time to receive the letter and if ever by January 29 we receive nothing, there we must call them to know if they can send it by email.

Thanks for ur reply, at last I could reach them by phone, the agent confirmed the notice and gave me the info of the address and the papers I need to bring with me( although I already had the info) but it eased my mind
second she told me that an email was sent ( not received ) and not to expect any further communication cause they wont send the email again

I think the same will happen in your case, we just need to show up on time, our names are listed in the system
