Hello All,

Welcome to June 2016 Spousal Applications Forum. :)

Please feel free to join this forum to share your experiences related to outland spousal sponsorship applications.

Cheers :D

Hi amans2515,
Thank you for setting up the board.
I have a question regarding inland and outland sponsorship.
I am currently staying in Canada and thinking about applying for PR under outland sponsorship. I will have to travel back to my country at the end of the year and then come back in Canada ( I am holding a study permit and will be applying for Post Grad work permit in the next several months). So if this is the case, is outland sponsorship a wise decision?
Thank you

Out land is always better than inland. since you have the right to appeal. but your situation is out of my expertise. if you dont get a reply soon. maybe create another thread with this question specifically.

good luck

Hello All,

I am very new to this forum. I am going to apply for PR, my husband is my sponsor. I will apply in next two months and working on lining up documents right now. I applied for student visa last year which was refused. I married last month. Will my last refusal has any effects on my application this time?? My husband is permanent resident there and is living there for more than 2.5 years now. How should I start working on my case? All the guidelines and suggestions are appreciated.

Congratulations everyone who applied in june.happy processing

Good luck, guys!

Yay I finally found my the June 2016 board! I just sent my application yesterday (after months of stress and preparations haha) and according to Canada Post, it's been delivered to CPC-M. I hope everything goes well. I wonder how long it'll take before I get the AOR. I'm sponsoring my husband. We have a dependent but she's with me in Canada. Can't wait to hear about everyone else's applications. Good luck to all of us!

Good luck, which VO are you using?

Hey everyone,

We're a common law couple based in Korea. We're hoping to have our application off by the end of this month. I've lived in Korea for many years and feel it's time to go home. We hope to go to Canada anytime from March 2017 onwards but are expecting to wait longer.

I just posted this on another thread but maybe it's better off here:
The more I read, the more confused I grow about this process. I tried to search for a step-by-step instruction guide for outland applicants but couldn't find what I was looking for exactly because of the large number of posts. Could someone point me in the right direction?

I found lots of useful tips in my searches but I still have lots of small questions about the outland process. I.e.where to send the application, do I need to write NA on everything, proof of relationship tips, etc.

Thanks!

My husband is in Manila, so I guess it's the Manila VO. Are you applying too?

I find that people here are always willing to help when you have questions or clarifications that you can't answer using the CIC website. Regarding writing N/A on everything, people have different advice. I think it was the IMM0008 that automatically grayed out any questions that didn't apply to you, but I went ahead and wrote N/A on the blanks after printing because someone suggested it. We can wait for the more senior members to answer, though. For proof of relationship, my brother submitted everything they could get their hands on that had both his and his partner's names - utility bills, insurance, love letters (but not a lot, since they lived together so they didn't find it necessary to write to each other all the time). This was back in 2005 they applied inland.
