Hi I have applied on 28-06-2016. File Transferred to India on 23-August-2016. Does any June Applicants have their BG check in Process. I am not able to link my file as i have applied through representative.

Does this mean cic is now checking out june files and we will see some background check in process soon because as you guys mentioned cic contacted you and asked for rprf and remedical request etc?

Seems like it, but I didn't receive any requests yet which really stresses me out :(

So we just got another email from the VO asking for Police Certificates from 3 separate countries my husband worked in (for some reason they don't need a PC for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). For his work he works one month on, one month off, but there is one country where he only worked a total of 4 months in, where he was inside the actual country. So I assume they need the police certificate for this country because from the 1st day he arrived to the last day he worked was more than 6 months??

I'm so frustrated with this whole process!!! He is finally going back to work in a couple of days (and after a year and a half off of no work) and they ask for this, which is not easy to get. He will be away in India for over 2 months, and everything will be closed Thurs/Fri/Sat here. How is he supposed to do all this in 2 days, when it takes 2 days to get the fingerprints back???

And I was just talking to him yesterday saying, I know you should have done those PC for those countries, then we get this lovely email.

Sorry to hear that.. :(
But in order to get PC is that possible that he signs a paper (which states that you are his representative), then notarized it..and give it to you, so you can apply for PC on his behalf? Or PC can be given exclusively in person?

He went to all 3 of the embassies today, and no one was able to help him. :(
India only gives it to Indian citizens, Iraq won't do it because no one cares (pretty much what the guy said) and for Qatar he needs someone in Qatar to get it for him (a POA but they have to be in Qatar).

I am going to sign a representative form, and there is no point to get a POA for here in Egypt since I will be going back to Canada in less than 2 weeks.

We got the same request on Sep 8th and we posted it. IMM 5562 is listed in documents for Paris only. My guess is maybe they are transferring some files to Paris.

My wife received an email from Ankara VO today, requesting she send them a completed IMM 5562 travel information form.

My question is: Can she send them the requested document using their webform (case specific enquiry) or does it have to be sent by post?

Has anyone else been asked to send this to Ankara?

Thanks. :)

Received an email today that "mycic" was updated, only to check and see I was approved!

I'm American, sponsored by my Canadian husband. Went through Ottawa...took 100 days exactly. Such a relief! Now waiting on COPR.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!
