I can't get in either!! I tried every possible permutation based on AOR 1 (sponsor UCI + application number) but nothing works -- and I am locked out!

Wonder if it's because SA is in progress and I haven't received a PA's UCI - oh well! at least ECAS works so I know they have our application and SA is in progress!!

I assume that got your AOR1 already?? It's weird because I try and put the file number on CIC and it doesn't recognize it but under ECAS it doesn't recognize the UCI.......maybe they are still inputing ours :/ No idea, welcome to the Gov't of Canada where inconsistency is consistent!!!! New motto!!!

hello everyone ,i just received my aor from manila office and they're requestinf for a copy of my documents which already been submitted in cp-missi by my husband, has anyone here encountered same issue tnx.

I'm in the same boat. Locked out for a second day in a row. Oh well. Good news is that SA approvals should start for June applicants this week.

Same situation here... Tried multiple combination... locked out now...
The only thing I can think of is that there is no specific category for "spouse AND dependent child".
Tried both of them with correct data but nothing worked.
Wrote a message to CIC as "technical problem" let's see if they answer.

I have a dependent too. I wonder if that is the issue. Curious.

Hi All,

I can check my wife's PR application status via CIC ecas . It says in process.

My wife is studying in USA. Her summer vacation is ongoing and we want to apply for a TRV for her so that she could come to Canada to visit me for 2 weeks before the class starts. However we have some confusions-

a). My wife was rejected 3 student visas before. Two of them were Canadian student Visas. If we apply for a TRV and if it gets rejected, will it have any impact on her PR application ??

b). As for her PR application, the SA process is going on. So she still doesn't have a UCI number assigned to her. Will it become a problem if we apply a TRV ( we will mention that a PR application is in process) ?? Or should we wait for her UCI number ( that is to wait for her PR application to be forwared to a VO)?

c). Do we have to let CIC know about the TRV visa outcome (after the TRV is processed) as well through a case specific inquiry? Also If I visit her ( I have a US visa), do I have let CIC know about my future visits as well?

I would appreciate any insight regarding these questions. We are all but ready to apply for the TRV but because of these confusions we put it on hold. We would be really glad we could find some answers. Thanks

Guys, any thoughts regarding these 3 questions? Would be big help. Thanks.

One update regarding last post, my sponsorship application status is in process. My wife's PR application status says application received.

Yeah, I've had these thoughts myself, as I'm in the same boat.

Hi.

1) No, it will not impact your sponsorship application.

2) While I suggest waiting until SA, your wife will have a UCI from her previous applications.

3) No, the outcome will be in GCMS. If, in the future you are asked for an updated IMM5669, then you will need to include the refusal. You do not need to update CIC on sponsor visits to PA, however, it would be good additional relationship proof if you did. When I visited my wife I sent pics, receipts, boarding passes, and passport stamps to SVO.

Hi.

Did you enter 3 for the number of people included in the application?

Also, try not entering all of the optional fields.

I tried 2 and 3 people, I didn't enter any optional fields (and I tried one or the other), I tried different combinations for the UCI, family name, app. number, etc. I've tried on both my account (PA) and my husband's (SA). I'm stumped.

Did you apply for a visa before you were married?

If so enter single in the marital status field.

Nope, I was married when I applied to extend my visitor visa and when I entered Canada with a visitor's record. When I was single and entered Canada, I didn't receive a record. I'm visa exempt.

Do you have GCMS notes?

There could be a discrepancy between what you entered in your application and what is actually in their system. These issues are common.

For example, one member's spouse is listed as single in their client details portion of their GCMS notes, when they are clearly married and applying outland for PR.

In my wife's notes, they have her email and phone number listed as mine even though we provided hers in our application and did not submit the Use of Representative form. They also have my total years of education listed as 2. Lol..
