Please see above and let me know what i need to include if i am forgetting anything....

What country is your wife from? What VO will process? There are varying requirements based on this.

If your wife is from a visa exempt country your relationship proofs look good.

The fee is $475 PA, $75 Sponsor, $490 RPRF.

RPRF can be deferred and paid later. I do not advise doing this as it can delay the process if they need to request it later.

Total $1040.

Your application will likely go to NDVO.

You should follow the guidelines in the India region specific guide.

Where did you marry? If it was in India CIC will want to see documentation of all of the traditional rituals of your wedding.

As for additional proofs, we sent the same things you are, but I also added her to my credit card and showed that, I took a screenshot of my CRA account showing my marital status and my wife's name, I took screenshots of us on video call together, I sent copies of reciepts for hotels, restaurants, tourist activities etc, I had family and friends write letters stating they know about our relationship and approve, I took screenshots of all of our public interaction on FB to show our marriage is public knowledge and to show friends and family commenting and liking our posts, I sent all western union receipts from when I send my wife money, I sent all the entry/exit stamps in my passport, postcards to each other, and many other things I can't think of right now lol.

We tried to use the common way of organizing our application as Envelope 1 Sponsor forms and supporting docs, Envelope 2 PA forms and supporting docs, Envelope 3 Proof of Relationship... Except we had way too much proof, and so we used 6 envelopes. The other four were: Photos, Communication x2, and All other Proofs.

Our application weighed 11lbs, and we sent more proofs after I visited and we vacationed in Bali.

Hi Guys,
June applicant here. Sent my spouse's PR application which was received by CIC on 29th June'2016. Now we are currently waiting for AOR1. My spouse is current residing in USA ( as a student). Her summer vacation is ongoing and we are thinking about applying for a TRV visa so that she can visit me for a few weeks. I was viewing some other threads where people suggested that if we want to apply for TRV after the PR application, we need to at least wait for SA approval.

Anyone has any suggestion regarding this issue? The reason I am asking is that her semester will start on August'28'2016 and she wants to visit me before her class starts. If we are to wait for the SA approval she probably won't have any vacations days left to visit me.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello! I'm applying for an outland sponsorship. I'm a PR here in Canada and my husband is in the philippines. We recently got married in the philippines last April 30. 2016. I left the Philippines June 9,2016 and I'm gathering some documents. Also I'm 2 months pregnant. Is it possible to have a shorter waiting time period if I apply and is it okay if he doesn't take the upfront medical before submitting his application? Also his passport will be released on first week of august. Since its his first time applying for one? Can you help me and tell me all the details that I should know?

CIC will not expedite the processing of your application due to your pregnancy unfortunately.

I strongly suggest he take the medical before submitting the application as it will cause a delay in processing if they have to request it later.

Thank you so much for that information. I will give birth this january and I will have a 1 year maternal leave. Can I go to the philippines for vacation or do I have to stay here in Canada during the entire process?

Since you are not a citizen and a PR, you are required to remain in Canada during the processing of the application. A 2-3 week vacation/visit will not affect your application but anything longer than that could cause problems/refusal.

Thank you so much! Do you know what documents needed for my filipino husband in the philippines. He is still waiting for his passport to be process and any other documents he need to get before we submit it?

My father told me that my husband need to have a transcript from his high school? Or a Certificate of employment would be good? He did not graduated college and my dad told me that I need his transcripts. My dad is also a PR here

Sorry about that. I really want to finish this application already and my dad keep messing my mind up

Follow the region specific guide for the Philippines.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3905e.pdf

I do not believe education/work credentials are required for Filipino's.

I didn't use courier to file my application so I couldn't know when exactly it reached CIC. however, my husband (sponsor) got an email with AOR :D a little strange I didn't get any email.

Not strange at all. You won't get an e-mail until after they start processing your side of the application.
