Thst's impressive! Ours was less than 1 kg. We included Facebook chat logs (1 page for each month we've been
Together), Skype video call screenshots, random photos (less than 40), and photocopies of boarding passes. My husband is also in the Philippines. And yes I've been checking my email at least 5 times a day since last week (don't have push email because I hated being obligated to check new messages in the past, but maybe I need email on my phone now)! Our application was received on June 2nd. Sent via Canada Post.
Our application was 11lbs, and we submitted additional proofs after I visited my wife and we vacationed in Bali lol.

We included screenshots of Whatsapp chats and copy pasted printouts, 80 pages of screenshots of Whatsapp calls, screenshots of video calls over Messenger, screenshots of us talking on video call, screenshots of my wife talking to my mom and daughter on video call, photos of visits, wedding, reception, honeymoon, postcards sent to each other and from both of us to my family/friends from Indonesia, birthday card and gift from my wife to my daughter, 7 letters of support from family/friends, my CRA account showing my marital status and my wife's name, joint credit card statement, all flight itineraries, boarding passes, and passport stamps, 16 pages of western union receipts, hotel, restaurant, shopping, and activity receipts from visits, receipts for the wedding photographer and food for the reception, relationship time line and written statements from my wife and I, and about 40 pages of public interaction on FB showing friends and family liking and commenting on our posts.

I'm sponsoring my wife from the Philippines, nice to meet a fellow Philippines sponsor. :) At June 2 means you will probably get AOR1 before the end of the week for sure. I really hope that our applications will see some speedup from the efforts the CIC is putting in to reduce backlogs and shorten processing times. I also hope that they would give more attention to Philippines applicants. In 2015 they were the largest source country for new immigrants into Canada, so why not keep that number high. :D
I've been hanging out at the Manila VO threads and it looks like the current trend is 8 to 10 months. For some cases it's longer, but I do hope that with their efforts to reduce backlog they can speed things up a bit more. Most of the regulars there are 2015 applicants though. Good to know that I'm not the only one sponsoring someone in Manila in this thread! Hoping for the best for both of us (and the rest of the applicants, too)!

Wow that's a lot! I wish I'd had time to put more stuff together for proof of relationship. I wonder if it's okay that we didn't include any Western Union receipts. I don't really support my husband financially, but I have a job so I can definitely support him when he gets here.

Our VO is Singapore, which is notorious as one of the toughest VO's in the world so we sent anything and everything we could.

I'm sure you will be fine. If your husband supports himself in his home country, money transfers won't be required.

My wife was working but after we married we decided she would quit her job and move back home with her parents and wait for the visa. She was making next to nothing working in Indonesia, like $140 CAD a month. I send her $3-400 a month now.

Regarding sa INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR MARRIAGE:
WHO PROPOSED?
WHEN AND WHERE DID THE PROPOSAL HAPPEN?
WAS THERE A FORMAL CEREMONY?

Hi! I'll answer this question, but you might want to translate this to English since this thread isn't exclusive to Tagalog speakers. Anyway, proposals aren't really that big of a deal in the Philippines. In my case, my husband and I just discussed getting married after we had our daughter in October last year. There's a question in one of the forms where they ask who proposed, right? I said it was him, but on the next question I explained that there wasn't a formal proposal. Instead he brought up the subject and we decided to get married. I also said it was online via Skype, because I had just given birth and couldn't fly to Manila. Just answer the questions honestly. I haven't received a reply from CIC since I applied, but I don't think it'll be a problem :)

Its only passed one week since hubby filed our app, but I already can't wait to recieve AOR :).

From what I read there are some cases when ppl do not even recieve one and first communication with CIC was a SA. CIC is so inconsistent.

We sent ours on the 13th. Canada Post didn't deliver until the 20th. So...looks like we won't hear anything until mid-July. The good news is that we received a full refund from Canada Post since they failed to meet their delivery guarantee of two days.
