hi guys i was just wondering that my wife's application is received in NDVO on AUG 18 2016 and and i applied on JUNE 7 2016 and her medical was done upfront and i was just wondering that on MYCIC it says Review of medical results REVIEW IN PROGRESS but on ECAS there is only 2 lines and does anyone know how long it takes for medical results to be passed and i linked my wifes application on set 8 to MYCIC and from there its been the same and hasn't change

As I know, medical process doesn't take long. It doesn't say "Medicals have been received" on your ECAS?

No it doesn't say that but on mycic it say it's in process ECAS it only has 2 lines

ECAS should say that they received your medical, which means you passed it. But they don't update ECAS on time As for me, I got that line in less than a month after Mississauga received our application.

COPR received today!!! He just has to sell his car now haha

do you have anything on your status regarding your meds?

ECAS shows that Meds have been received.
MyCIC shows that Meds have been passed.

Logged in to eCAS today and it went from Decision Made on sponsor side (a change from a week ago) to also say Decision Made on Permanent Residence Application Status column too but no updates on the details besides Med results received- same as it's been.

Does this mean we have COPR?! Also do you get an email with COPR- or does it only go through mail? For example with both our AOR and SA an email was sent to my wife.

I sincerely hope this means we'll have a visa soon!!

Logged in to eCAS today and it went from Decision Made on sponsor side (a change from a week ago) to also say Decision Made on Permanent Residence Application Status column too but no updates on the details besides Med results received- same as it's been.

Does this mean we have COPR?! Also do you get an email with COPR- or does it only go through mail? For example with both our AOR and SA an email was sent to my wife.

I sincerely hope this means we'll have a visa soon!!

there won't be anything specific on the applicant's side when it changes to DM. if anything is there, it will simply say cic sent a letter. If the applicant does not require a visa, then the COPR will be received by regular mail. there will not be an additional email. if a visa is required then cic will send a letter with instructions to send the passport to the visa office.

We received DM on the 9th, so 5 days. It was also sent to my (Sponsor's) house.

Ottawa. I'm a U.S. citizen. Looks like from previous posts a lot of others are getting DM out of Ottawa too this week!
