No unfortunately she couldn't tell me if and when oath letter would come.

Yes you are correct about the documents. But I had also brought my marriage certificate and another documents that was not required in the application. I told her what documents I brought and she asked for these two so she could make copies. In addition to requested documents I brought also my tax assessments, employment confirmation letters and T4 slips.

I'll bring my tax assessments as well, good suggestion!
Hope you can get the Oath invite soon!

Exactly. And you never know.....

Just still mad that I didn't catch that the stamp of 2013 wasn't in my passport and I didn't order a CBSA report to bring with me. But then the nice officer did note "no concerns" on my form/file so I guess I can just wait to see what happens next :(

Did boarder services forget to stamp your passport?

Join the club my man!

I scored 20 out of 20 on the test and went into the interview hoping I'd be told which oath ceremony they would schedule me for. Instead, what did I get? A good 30 minute grilling on my (irrelevant) personal biography since turning 18, and a lot of questions my passport, the old non-biometric kind which they seem to be allergic to these days. For icing on the cake, the officer said he had to first request a CBSA report to check that my declared entries to Canada are accurate -- this for only same-day trips -- before making a decision. If I had known he didn't yet have that report, I would've requested it myself from CBSA and brought it with me to the interview.

The guy said the CBSA report should take about a week to get to him. Yet here we are, in the third week after the interview and as of two minutes ago my online status still showed IN PROCESS. Mind you we're in a long weekend, if not a hiatus period for bureaucrats, so it's what i like to call an 'indefinite' wait. I'm getting really sick a tired of their bulls.hit.

Like I said the officer I had was a very nice lady. She didn't make a big fuss about the stamp....it's I think me worrying too much. She did say she has no concerns and that the next step would be the oath and to wait for the letter with instructions.

I do hope that everything will turn out OK for you soon Marcus66502!

Hi Rigly68
Congrats first of all for passing the test :)

Just for clarification about the missing stamp in your passport... where did that happen, crossing the land border?

No it happened at the airport. We were coming back from our vacation from Europe.

It is not your fault. Cbsa have the records and not all the time they stamp the passports. It happened to me few nonths ago when i was entering Canada, they dont stamp my passport. This should not create a problem since it is not your fault.

Could somebody give me suggestion what kind of documentation I should take? Do I need print application form which I submitted to CIC?
Thanks,
Ben

You mean document for the test? What you need to take along are all listed in the test invite letter. Most importantly, your PR Card, COPR (landing paper), original passports your declared in your application, any form of ID (health card, driver's licence, etc), original copy of your proof of Language Test (or transcripts, if you studied in Canada). Basically ensure you go with all the originals of the document specified in the citizenship application checklist form. Hope that helps. Those that have done the test can throw more light.
