Oh wow! Congratulations! This gives me some hope, my wife and I filed mid june in manila

More hope than I even knew! My wife got a call today from CIC Manila, and it's been approved! She has to go pick it up on the 28th, and land on or before March 16th. So happy! It's been so long! that basically means 8-9 months since we applied to it being approved!

I hope everyone else's goes as well

More hope than I even knew! My wife got a call today from CIC Manila, and it's been approved! She has to go pick it up on the 28th, and land on or before March 16th. So happy! It's been so long! that basically means 8-9 months since we applied to it being approved!

Unkieherb, was the news delivered via e-mail? I see your application is a Japanese one as well.

I'm hoping I hear news from them soon. Last I heard from them was for us to submit our Appendix A.

I'm hoping I hear news from them soon. Last I heard from them was for us to submit our Appendix A.

In August they asked us to fill out the Appendix A too. That was the last I heard from Manila. They haven't emailed me about the decision yet, and I still only have 3 lines in ECAS. We'll see what happens next.

Ours was like that. They asked for a missing document (Proof of marriage? alternative to the CENOMAR) which we left out because i assumed they wanted the CENOMAR which made no sense! Totally my dumbness there. Then nothing till they called my wife on Tuesday. I imagine your status will just get updated one day with no prior notice, then you'll get an email, then the new line gets added. Or if time is running out, they'll call. Our ECAS still says In Process, so lol?

Funny how CIC works sometimes, isn't it? At this point I'm just going to assume it'll take a few weeks for them to issue the visa.

My spouse's visa arrived in Toronto today. CIC never sent us an email about the decision. The visa just showed up on its own.
