June 2015 - Outland applications

Congrats to everyone who received good news on their application!

As for us, we just got our GCMS notes that we requested last December 17, 2015. Not much have changed, Eligibility still says 'recommend passed' and Security/Criminality still says 'not started'. Aside from the note that added that we requested gcms notes last October and we called the call center in September, they didn't really change anything. No new due dates. I guess there's nothing else we could do but wait since it's technically still within the processing time.

Things are happening. We applied July. Notes appearred to show no activity. 3 weeks later husband gets interview. Now January notes are overdue. Hoping they arrive with info this time.

Got My COPR today! Yeyyyy

Applied June 15th trough SAO PAULO VO.

Question: I am currently in Canada as visitor and in the letter says that i can send my passport to Ottawa if I am in Canada. I thought i had to send it to Sao Paulo once I applied Outland. Has anyone experienced sending the Passport to Ottawa even though applying Outland and being in Canada? Thanks!

please help me. i rcv mail from VO asking for status update on my firther medical examination so i called IMO then they told me that they already forwarded my examinatoon result on january 19 and they also send me a proof of submission to cic information sheet.what will i do next?what will i reply to the email i rcv from VO?thank you.any suggestion?

When was your father has his medical examination? was it expired? was it upfront?
It should be on your eCas, saying that they received your father medical examination. I think what you can do is to write them letter and attached the info. sheet from IMO or call them (VO).

We did. Piece of cake! Sent it to Ottawa with a self addressed Xpress Post envelope (to your Canadian address) and had the passport with COPR back in three weeks. Quick trip to the US a couple of days later and we were done!

Do you live in Ontario?

OMG, I am so worried because we have a family trip in Feb13th. I am praying to get my passport before Feb13th which is 21 days from today.
Passport arrives in Ottawa tomorrow morning and I am currently living in Toronto area.. so worried.

Edmonton...drove to Whitefish Montana for the weekend. Coming back the "landing" took about 15 minutes.

PR In Process since August 7, 2015
No word what so ever since the 3rd line - Medical results have been received.

It is difficult to understand why this US Outland app is taking so long in Ottawa (8 months)...no issues with anything that we are aware of and I have a NEXUS including a scan of my eyes and a CBSA interview for trusted traveler status--yet no DM or other communication since July 30 when they let us know we paid $60 too much. I am hoping that nothing is missing but who knows? I ordered notes on Jan 7, 2016 should be here Feb 6th, 2016. And my husband has written twice to our MP but no word then him either. It is not true that US applications move quickly as I also see others from May still waiting. Until such time my family suffers...waiting on CIC to queue up my application.
