I'm wondering how long it takes from DM to COPR in the mail…
We've all been so patient. I'm finding it harder to wait now that we are in the DM stage!!

@cillyx5: ~2 weeks for me - It was a sign-for-receipt letter from Vienna to Ottawa.

Ahhhhh, my eCAS status has been updated to DM!!! I literally checked it last night and it still said in process. Yayyyyyyyy!!!

We are all getting so much closer!

Our new passport photos arrived at the Urgent mailroom in Ottawa yesterday… Will let you all know when there's more movement.

Just wondering, is anyone here got their Visa from Canadian Embassy Manila?

Nope. I'm still waiting. My application was received in Mississauga on June 1 and transferred to Manila on Aug 4.

Congrats LN13. Hope to get the same excitement soon :)

Congratulations to everyone!

A quick note to anyone doing their landing soon- bring a copy of the SA (Sponsor Approval) since the border guards sometimes ask you for it.

And they might do a quick interview right there and then! Stuff about your sponsor- where they work, where you both will live etc etc.

Goodluck to everyone still waiting on their DM.

My lawyer's office received my COPR today, there was a client copy without a picture and a CIC copy with a picture. I called CIC to make an appointment to land since I'm already in Canada, the agent told me they'd get back to me within 3 weeks. My COPR expires May 26, 2016 so there's plenty of time.

Very pleased with my 6 month processing time, I knew it'd be shorter because I'm American and already in Canada but it's still a great Xmas present!

Another update, my local CIC office sent me my appointment time to land! It will be the 2nd week of the New Year. I literally called yesterday afternoon to request an appointment. Sooo happy everything is moving so fast now when it was such a waiting game earlier (although I really can't complain, some people have been waiting years).

RhinoGirl, that's so fast! Congrats.

Queation, were you in Canada as a visitor from the US? I'm curious if anyone who is in Canada as a visitor while waiting for their COPR can validate it from a local CIC office?
