June 2015 - Outland applications

Singapore VO received my husband PP on nov 5th and no news since then. :'( Anyone with similar case who are also waiting for PP return ??
We are JUNE outland applicant.

My husband received this today. He is from korea, which is a visa exempt country. They make it seem like I MUST submit his passport. But I don't right???

Dear ******:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Your application is being processed in CPC-Ottawa. You should contact our office in CPC-Ottawa should you need to provide updates for any of your information.
Your application has reached the final stage of processing. In order to finalize your application, you must submit the documents listed below. If you are a person from a visa-exempt country, see also information under Visa-exempt nationals on the following page.

When issued, your visa(s) and/or Confirmation of Permanent Resident Form(s) would be valid until 06/18/2016 (mm/dd/yy).

In order to complete the process, you must submit the following within 30 days of this letter:
1. The original passports for yourself and every family member who will accompany you to Canada. See Important Notes about Passports and Visa Validity in the following pages for more information.

2. Completed Appendix A (attached). Ensure that you have clearly indicated your file number (F000367173), your return address, e-mail address and contact information for delivery purposes.

3. Two (2) recent photographs each of yourself and every family member who will accompany you to Canada. For photo specifications, consult the following link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf. Damaged photographs (ie. With pen marks, ink blots, stains, creases, staples) will not be accepted and will cause a delay in the processing of your visa(s) and/or Confirmation of Permanent Resident Form(s).






Visa-exempt nationals

Persons from visa-exempt countries do not require a visa to enter Canada and will be issued only a Confirmation of Permanent Resident Form. Find out if you are from a visa-exempt country at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp.

If you are from a visa-exempt country, you need only to submit a photocopy of the biographic page of the passport(s), along with a completed Appendix A and passport photos of yourself and every family member who will accompany you to Canada. Ensure that copies are clear and readable.

How and Where to Submit your Passport(s) and required documents

The required documents (Appendix A, passports and photos) must be submitted together thru either of the following options:

1. Visa Application Centres (VACs)

2. In Canada (CPC-O) – if applicable

If you and all the accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit your passport(s) to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (“CPC-O”). You are required to send your passport(s) together, along with a copy of this letter by mail or courier to the following address.

Hi all Fellow June 2015 applicants,

I'm so happy to share that my husband got his COPR by letter mail at his local European address last week. We got Vienna VO and had resigned ourselves to a very long wait, so this quick DM and COPR is very unexpected indeed! ;D
Also a note to all visa-exempt county applicants - you will not have a separate PPR. Rather, the ecas will change to DM and you will (finger's crossed) get a COPR by letter mail.

Maartenvg!! I know you are in Canada already, but unless you had your official address changed through CIC, it's very likely that your COPR is waiting for you at your European address. You can authorize someone to collect it on your behalf.

One thing to add: The COPR is not valid for too long- they are giving spouses less time to do landing than the previous 12 months. In our case, it's valid till April 2016.

Congratulations!

I am also a June Spousal (USA) application received in Ottawa but I have not been able to add to the spreadsheet. It says it doesn't allow editing. Could I get assistance adding to the spreadsheets. Thanks.

Mine says:

1. We received Mary's application for PR on June 10, 2015.
2. We started processing Mary's application on Aug. 7, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.

FBI and fees all up front. And I DID NOT receive the batch letter the 4th week of November 2015.

Thanks for the warning. For this application I never had a European address, so I assume it'll arrive in Canada. It's weird they didn't send it to your "current mailing address" as specified in form IMM0008, section "Contact information", question 1.

Yes, it's weird they didn't contact our legal representative- who is supposed to receive all communications. I guess Vienna just decided to directly send the copr to the main applicant.

My husband just returned from work one day and found the 'missed delivery' door tag from Vienna embassy. He pretty much ran all the way to the post office before it closed. hehe.

No it showed up on ECAS, we received the document request on nov 24, we sent information back to them the next day. so its only been a couple of weeks since the request. We had a hiccup also, the file my wife sent me was a compressed file, which they could not open, so I took care of that within the hour of getting the email from cic. I will let everyone know when I get the actual visa. wife is beyond excited.

Congratulations!! I got a doc request on 11/25, so I'm hoping mine will be soon? I can hope, Maybe it's different officers though, who knows.

I was in the batch email the last of last month as well but had to wait for a document before I could respond. I sent it off today.

My CoPR has arrived!

Sent to Mississauga on June 8th, received COPR on November 11th. That's 156 days total processing, way shorter than expected!
