That is great news, patience pays off!! Cannot wait to get official letter.

Does ECAS tell you to which VISA office they've sent it, or do we have to wait for the official letter for that?

No on ecas mention only decision made, official letter required came to know visa office and file transfer date.

Alright I need some help with understanding Ecas...

When I log on, I get my address and under I have Sponsorship Application(s). Under that there are boxes with Sponsored Person, Sponsorship Application Status and Permanent Residence Application Status.

So is Sponsorship Application Status the 1st part (SA?) and Permanent Residence Application Status the 2nd part (CORP?)??

Also, when I click on Permanent Residence Application Status, it says Application Received : We received MY HUSBAND'S NAME's application for permanent residence on June 1, 2015. Medical results have been received. Does this mean my application has been sent over to it's final destination visa office?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to understand!

the Sponsorship Application Status is the 1st part (SA - when they determine you are eligible to sponsor) and the Permanent Residence Application Status is the 2nd part (the eventual CORP, once it is all approved! when they determine that your spouse is eligible to immigrate). the part where it says they have received your husband's application seems to be more of a courtesy than anything, to let you know they've got it and it's not lost, but it's still in Canada. after you receive SA, they send the 2nd part to the destination visa office, and the Permanent Residence Application Status box will change to 'in process'.

Awesome! Thank you so much! I got SA on the 28th of July so hopefully I get In Progess soon since I'm pretty sure the application is going to Ottawa since my husband is American. It's so frustrating to know that my application will be in my own city! I wish I could just go there and be like hi it's me, it's all real, can I get my husband approved?! Haha - only if it was that easy!
