Technically, less than 4 months. We have a strong application and no red flags. Did everything up front (payment and medical, police certs etc) so that saved a few months of processing.

I'm sponsoring my Japanese wife via outland. The CIC just got my application today (June 30) so I'm a little late to the party but I figured I'd add myself to this thread. I'll add myself to the google doc as well. Thanks to the person who created it!

It's all done!

Just one question: For some reason her COPR, under PERSONAL DETAILS - PA, says Marital Status: Single.
However, below, under SPONSOR INFORMATION, it shows me and relationship: Spouse.

Is this ok for entry? We were unable to change her status there, since we got married in Canada.
Does this matter much?
Any thoughts?
