My application was received September 10 2015 and I received my AOR on October 19 2015. There is always a delay so don't rely on it too much. If you can see that your package was received and signed it is a good sign.

Its very disorganized, there is no order to the documents. You might receive it much later but it doesn't mean they didnt start processing the application, the letter/email is just late. You can call CIC and they can confirm whether you got approved or not.

It only took 3 days. I received sponsor approval on September 21st from CIC and on September 24 the visa office in beirut started processing our application for permanent residence.

If I were you I would just make a normal photocopy. Editing it into a word document might make it seem fraudulent. The name and contact information is already on those items so its unnecessary to add extra information. I just made photocopies and everything was fine. They want exact copies so...

They will not process your application as inland because your spouse is not eligible for that. They will most likely send you back your package with a letter explaining the corrections you will have to make.

Its very important to write N/A in all sections that do not apply to you. In the guide it said not to leave anything blank because this might suggest that you forgot to fill it in. I crossed out all the sections that did not apply to me in the forms and even on the checklist.
