My ECAS has updated as well!
Permanent resident applicant now shows: we started processing your application on August 20th!

I am from June15th, no SA letter though...

Hello everyone,

did you know that they just changed the processing times for the outland spousal sponsorship for most countries?

for my country (Lebanon), it suddenly went from 16 months (step 2) to 64 months !

It went up for other countries too (like India, Morocco...etc) . but all other countries are much less than us. the closest one is USA with 39 months.

anyone has any idea about this sudden change? could there be an error on their website or sthg?

My eCAS 'Permanent Residence' status is still 'in process' and now has 3 lines:

1. We received NAME's application for permanent residence on June 11, 2015.
2. We started processing NAME's application on August 11, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.

Odd that Sponsor status is still listed as 'in process' despite getting SA 2 weeks ago.

Hello Guys! I have question, someone knows if the processing timing for the first step (Sponsorship Application Status) is 57 days as it says the the web page? or when the web page update the status?,

I check the status of the sponsorship application status (First Step) and i see this:

Sponsorship
We received your application to sponsor xxxxx on June 25, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 28, 2015.

The "started processing" line just appeared today, eCAS has listed PR as 'in process' since August 11.

It happened for us too-

We received xxxxxx application for permanent residence on June 5, 2015.
We started processing xxxxx application on August 13, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Vienna still says 16 months...sigh....hopefully it won't be that long in reality!

Is it coincidence that after a few of us wrote letters to our MP's and created this petition that all of a sudden ECAS updates started pouring in?? Maybe..maybe not Keep the momentum going...sign the petition and share it with as many people as you can!!

I am on the same day as you. Application sent 25 June and AOR received 28 July. I have no SA yet. The website shows an estimate of which day they are working on, but since they only update the website once a week, its not the most accurate, as they will most likely go from 22 June to 29 June. So if we dont get SA by tomorrow (Date I expect they will update their website) then we can call CIC and they will be able to assist as we are after the time shown on the website
