No Update No News No Nothing at all.. its been quiet and its 70 days passed... hmm don't know what cic is doing.. I remember it happens in somewhere in 2013 with one of my friend and it turns out a Complete Strike by the CIC Workers.. I hope this time it won't happen.. I just hope..

Hey all. I think it's time we let the government know of our oncerns and offer some concrete solutions. I created a sample letter that you can send to your MP as well as a petition on change.org

I posted both in this thread.

I am not allowed to edit the spreadsheet!
In order to help all the applicants, I would like to update my timeline.
My application is in São Paulo and the status is :'in process'
I don't have a SA letter yet but I have AOR2 from São Paulo, which I guess means my hubby was approved as sponsor.
I am from June15th.
If someone could edit the spreadsheet I'd appreciate it!

I didn't call cic. Just hoping SA will come soon, probably next week. I don't want to be burden on cic. Let them take their time.

i think we will hear a positive progress from them this week...many of May applicant received their PPR and DM this august i know we, June applicants are the next in line ;D

You are perfectly within your right to call them and ask what happened. Your application was received June 15 and the CIC Processing times page says they are currently working on applications received week of Jun 22. This is a full week past your AOR1.

Thanks for your concerns, but I still prefer to wait a few more days... lets see what happens this week.

June 22nd applicant, both Sponsor and Applicant status on ecas is shown as "In Progress". Have not received any letters or emails from CIC (no communications ever). I called them this morning and the agent refused to check my status for me. I checked the processing times on CIC's website and it seems like the time has increased for ALL countries....Hong Kong just doubled its processing time from 10 months to 20 months and Beijing is at 30+ months? How can long-distance marriages last this long?

I got me SA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from email today
I am so happy and want to thank everybody because my case was very complicated but canada is a gerat country
I was married then seprated but not divorced
But I did provide enough documents to convinse CIC for my common law application
I am ready to help people like me
