So, I emailed VO São Paulo to check if they received my application and the answer was YES!!!!!!!
My application was sent yesterday!
No SA letter yet but at lest I know I got it because my application was already forwarded to São Paulo!
I am from June15th!

It such a relief thank you for informing us.I just called them but they still dont want to share the information. The lady on the phone just told me they are working on it and be patient :-[ and for ankara aplicants proccessing time changed 11 months to 26 months is it april fools joke because it is not funny at all :'(

Processing times for Amman have been changed from 24 months to (-)...

About the timeline, if we want to be negative, they simply added the VO processing time to decrease the number of inquiries, or just decreased the number of staff working on the family sponsorship, then they generate a fake statistic, and post it on their website.
But if we want to think positive, it only means during the past months they focused on finalizing many cases that have been open for a long time, and finished them. Maybe the conservative government have done it to increase their chances in the next election. So it can be even a good news. They tried to finalize the cases faster.
I cannot think of any other reasons.

Hi sis nagconfirm ako sa cem kung natanggap na nila ung application ko, nagreply sila and they confirm na august 11, 2015 natanggap nila sa manila pero d nila sinabi ung status but atleast im sure nsa manila na ;D at maybe ung sayo andon na din next to mine lets hope our PPR this week ;D

Called CIC and the agent was not very nice at all. Absolutely refused to look up my UCI number and check my status for me. I haven't seen any progress on the spreadsheet since August 13th and I am getting really nervous. Sometimes I just wish the agents could put themselves in our shoes and feel the agony/anxiety/nervousness etc. we are feeling. Looking up someone's UCI and verifying the status of an application shouldn't be that difficult for them. And after all, we have all paid 1000+ CAD for their service.

No Update No News No Nothing at all.. its been quiet and its 70 days passed... hmm don't know what cic is doing.. I remember it happens in somewhere in 2013 with one of my friend and it turns out a Complete Strike by the CIC Workers.. I hope this time it won't happen.. I just hope..

Hey all. I think it's time we let the government know of our oncerns and offer some concrete solutions. I created a sample letter that you can send to your MP as well as a petition on change.org
