Looking at the spreadsheet, announcements of SA are likely to be scarce from now on for our June group. Applications received on the last day of the month have already received SA. We can only hope the remaining applications are not delayed to much longer before they receive their approval.

Hopefully they are looking at a number of our June applications now. I just heard from them because our package was a bit short on what they wanted.

The good news: "We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview."

The not so good: "In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:

- IMM 5409—Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union form: please provide a signed and completed Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union form (IMM 5409) bearing original signatures.

- Two (2) passport-size photographs. (Photographs must conform to the Permanent Resident Card Photo Specifications.)"

The IMM 5409 is not required, per the instructions, but has been asked for from a number of common-law applicants of late, judging from discussions in the forums here. We will courier it off tomorrow.

I don't understand the photograph request. I sent 4 with the original application as per the instructions. These are clearly identified as being needed for my PR card. Were the photos I originally sent rejected for not meeting specifications, or is this something else? Another mystery of CIC, I suppose

Hi everyone. Sorry if this has been answered already, but has anyone had to send in additional information? How long did it take to process? I had to send in some translations and now they are telling me the application process is starting all over again.. 55 more days ??

I sent in my application 11th april they have now confirmed i will be joining the June applications. They gave me 45 days to send additional information . They will bring forward your application once your 55 days are over.

I was kind of expecting it.I was able to log on to ecas using my husbands info thats how i found out . I may be lucky still, and hes gets here for xmas.

thanks! just finished loading the car. i can't believe i got everything to fit! had a bit of a set back with needing last minute repairs today. all is good, and car is road ready!

I Have been quietly and patiently waitingbto hear someth but no email no mail no call and my application was for june 23rd, its 60 days no my spouse call they told him who was dealing with the application bu5 said it wasstill p4ocessing and thry will tell hij if he needs to send in additional info he has to wait,, is this making sense should it take this long????

Have u heard anything for your SA? If yes when did u got it?
